So this was a poem that i wrote a long time ago (back when i was a freshmen). It was a school assignment that i did. its a free verse poem in case you were wondering xD
Shikamaru
Shikamaru was a strange guy.
He was a lazy boy.
One that would rather sleep,
Than work.
But Shikamaru had a secret.
One that anyone could figure out.
They just had to pay attention.
Or... secretly quiz him.
But how is the question.
He wouldn't take a test.
But that's were his teacher got an idea.
"How about a game of shogi?"
It was perfect!
This way he could test him,
And he will never know it.
So it began
Student vs. Teacher Who would win?
More importantly,
What was his score going to be?
He caught on quick.
It was a close battle.
But only one knew for sure That he himself was going to win.
With his final thought,
He dropped his hands And placed his winning move.
It left his teacher in shock.
They continued playing With his teacher still stunned.
At the rate this was going-
He came to a conclusion.
He was a genius.
With an iq of over 200.
Even the smartest In their city Couldn't compare.
So where is Shikamaru now?
Well you might see him,
Sleeping in class,
Or lying under the sky.
Just remember to watch closely.
Cause if you do,
You might just realize,
Just how amazing he truly is.
