With a sigh, Tony sank down into the couch, embracing that cool, pale body, laying his cheek on soft black hair. The body moved closer, hands coming up around his chest. With a smile, he breathed into the hair so close to his face. The day hadn't been particularly tiring, just long. Too many board meetings, not enough action to get out of them. What was Doom up to now? No one had seen a hair of him for a while now, weeks actually. S.H.I.E.L.D. was going slightly crazy, paranoid out of their minds, slowly relaxing then snapping back five times more tense and wary of every blip on their radar.

The T.V. was turned on, the volume on low. Perfect background music to daze out and relax to. Tony sank into the couch some more, dragging down the beauty in his arms. Said beauty shifted, moving slightly away, turning his face towards him. No matter how many times he sees them, looks into them, thinks about them, Tony's always surprised by how green those eyes are. "Long day?" Tony rolled his eyes. Smiling, "Well, sweetheart, everyday's a long day when I'm away from you." Snorting, "Ever the charmer, Stark." "No need for compliments; last night was compliment enough." Loki rolled his eyes to Valhalla. Smirking suddenly, he nonchalantly turned to the T.V., casually saying, "Lady Pepper brought us sustenance" He could feel the sudden tension in Tony.

Warily, "That's nice. What did she bring?" Smirking even more, "I believe she mentioned bread, milk, pasta, baby pictures…" A slightly higher pitch voice replied, "She brought over her baby pictures to share? And I wasn't there? That woman!" Tony glared out the window when he felt Loki chuckling. Definitely not pouting, "I don't understand how you two get along so well. And can't you find something else you have in common besides me?" The chuckling subsided. Innocent green eyes stared at him, "You were a cute child." Even he could tell he was sulking now. "Must we have this conversation every week? I am not cute! Devilishly handsome and sexy, yes. Cute is reserved for baby rabbits, and Thor." Loki raised an eyebrow. Pulling him closer Tony placated, "Aww, don't be jealous. Even you have to admit he gets all cute when he's sleepy." Smirking slightly, Loki turned to the T.V., "I am not jealous".

Smiling faintly, Tony bent to brush his lips against the side of the god's neck. Closing his eyes, Loki leaned into Tony, tightening his arms. Tony closed his eyes and breathed in Loki's scent. Pulling his arms tighter around the green-eyed god, he murmured, "I love you. I love you. I love you." Eyes still closed, Loki said, softly, "And I love you. Today, and tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow." Tony felt his chest constrict. He loved this being so much it hurt sometimes. The need to always have him in his arms, to always be in his arms. To hold on tight and never let go.

It's taken them a lifetime to get here. A lifetime of fighting, bloodshed, Gods, and even stronger enemies. A lifetime he will always be willing to go through again if it meant ending up right where he was.

A/N: Like the summary said, this is the aftermath. If someone would like to pick this up and tell us the aftermath of what, I'd be more that happy. Just leave me a message. I have to say this now though; if someone should pick this up, I'd like there to be no rape or dub con whatsoever. And no other romantics interests to interfere with the Loki/Tony relationship.

It'd also be nice for it to be really, really, extremely long and slow moving. And I despise the, "Oh, look, we have things in common, let's jump into bed" fic.
