I'm getting good at not updating my real story DTT. I will work on that. Now, this might not be good, but I like it. I think it is pretty good. Scratch that, I think its amazing and should get a thousand reviews! Yet, that wouldn't happen. Calm down and review. Or else. Like my threat?

I feel kind of mean for neglecting Cats. Sorry. xoxo

Electra walked around the Junkyard on a moonlight stroll as the full moon shone in the dark night sky. It wasn't quite full yet, but it was still very bright as she wandered aimlessly. She didn't feel like she had been very important to the Jellicle tribe and that was one of the main reasons for this stroll. Etcetera was having a sleepover in their shared den with Jemima and Victoria and even though they all were the same age, Electra felt as if she didn't belong. In fact, they never noticed that she had left.

Turning away from the Junkyard, Electra walked to the outskirts of the nearest town. Most of the town was falling asleep, apart from a few bright lights downtown. There was a house on the outside of the town that Electra was aiming for. It had many cars parked in front of it, and a lot of them looked like cars that teenagers would own. On top of a yellow, rusted truck was a brown tabby cat, with black and dark brown stripes and dots down it's back. Around this cat's neck was a grey collar, with a name plate on it.

"So I take it you needed vacation from the dictators?" The brown tabby asked to Electra as it jumped down and went to greet her face to face. It started to walk beside her.

"No, Darius, I came all the way out here for my secret catnip stash." Electra laughed sarcastically. Darius had been in the Jellice tribe once, when his father still lived. Once his father died, Darius decided he had enough of people telling him what he could and could not do. Before then, though the memory was clouded a little, he had been Electra's best friend. They knew all of eachother's secrets, and were basically siblings, just a little different from eachother.

"So Cettie had another sleepover?" Darius asked, as he ducked into a bush. When re reemerged he had a plastic bag with a green plant in itl

"Yeah, and this time they didn't notice when I walked out the door. Every day I put up with them, the more I want to live like you, free from obligations."

"There's always room for my favourite queen. Now eat up." Pushing the plastic bag to her, Electra ate a few of the leaves from the bag Darius had. His owners grew catnip one year in their herb garden, and so Darius snitched a bag or two from them. After a while, Electra started using it every so often to take the hardness out of life.

"What are the humans doing tonight?" Electra asked after Darius hid the stash again. She was quite curious about why there were so many cars parked in front of his owner's home.

"Some sort of movie party. They were going to watch seven movies in a row about a hairy potter. Electra, how do you feel about mating?"

"It's a part of Jellicle life, but I don't like having a deadline. It takes…time…to find the one you love. Why do you ask?" Darius rubbed against Electra's side.

"I've been thinking. I need a mate eventually, and I think I love you enough to want to mate with you. That makes sense, right?" Electra nodded. "Plus, just think. A life of just you and me, nothing that we have to do, no one to tell us that we can't do this or that. You must like that idea." Electra looked at Darius, and felt something she had never felt. She couldn't call it love, but it wasn't normal. It felt like fluff.

"I do like that idea. I like it a lot."

Electra never returned to the Jellicle Junkyard, and was quite glad she didn't go back. They had kept her unhappy, and didn't accept who she really might have been, even if they did care.
