Flyers were hung all around. Lots of pink, red, and even white hearts everywhere spread across the walls as well as lockers of the high school. Happy couples being all lovey dovey. Unlike miss Stein, who couldn't seem to find a date for the upcoming Valentine's dance. Cupid would have loved it all, and maybe even made the set up much nicer. Hopefully she'll be back someday. Everyone totally missed her, though that wasn't the point. It upset her dearly that she was actually back to that "oh my ghoul I need a boyfriend, like, now" phase. But, how could anyone not think of that when all you ever see are cheery couples in wonderful relationships while you're all alone?

Along came HooDude, with his perky, sewed in smile. "Hi Frankie!" He exclaimed, happier than ever. A simple greeting came from she. "I was wondering if you were going to the dance..." He bluntly came out with it. Perhaps before he came up to her, he made an attempt to get the nerves out.

Frankie stared at him, a blank expression from the both of them. "Uhh well you see, I'm still not sure of what I'm even going to wear yet, let alone if I'm even gonna go...How about I get back to you on that?" She pulled an uncomfortably fake smile as she quickly scurried off.

HooDude faced back, watching as she walked off. "Oh okay...I'll talk to you later...I guess..."

As she walked off she was in full thought whether she should just except his offer or not. There might be other options, but then again what if there wasn't? She certainly didn't want to show up to a dance, especially a Valentine's one without a date, for a second year in a row.

Finally looking up again, from the distance the ghoul spotted out, Jackson. Crushed at the sight she stared walking the opposite way. The geeky normie looked at her, noticing she seemed upset. Did she not want to see him? He looked down at the pretty, plump, pink rose, then back up in the direction she was headed in. He kept his eyes on her, but stared to speed up a bit to catch up with her. He tightened his grip on the stem of the gentle flower.

Zombies. Just what he needed. Why did he go down this hall? He began shoving through the wave of undead flesh, perusing through the crowd, being gentle with the dainty rose.

Frankie continued to walk through the halls, upset. Assuming was always a bad thing, and all she could do was think, Jackson was going to ask some other ghoul to the dance...

As she was looking down, a taller monster stopped in her way. She looked up as she came to a halt. "Andy?"

Jackson finally almost caught up to his ghoul, she was just down the hall. He took a breath of relief, and also stress. Walking through a bunch of zombies is the last thing anyone wanted, normie or not.

With a bright, confident smile and a dozen roses at hand, the beast questioned, "Would you-" A large blast of sound down the halls, the marching band was making their way through. Andy's question dissolving into the music. Frankie just stared at him, utterly confounded.

"What?" She shouted, the band getting louder.

Andy sighed, "Will. You. Go. To. The. Dance. With. Me?!" He used hand gestures as well to make an attempt getting his point across.

Frankie shook her head slowly, "I can't hear you!" She yelled at him. The two of them unbearably close, trying to listen and hear each other out. The music starting to die now, she stated that she had to take her leave, or she was going to be late for class. Andy, feeling rejected, slumped his shoulders.

Meanwhile, Holt Hyde with a singed rose at hand, witnessed Andy and the plethora of roses the beast had. Seeing that he was talking with miss Frankie Fine, it angered him. He tossed the burnt flower to the side and cranked up the music on his iCoffin. "I gotta step up my game!" He muttered as he strode down the halls, all riled up, heading to class, fully in thought.
