Prince Eric and Princess Ariel's wedding was held on the harbor's main dock, though only a few knew the actual reason why. Eric's parents had tried convincing him hold his wedding in a church, as that was what they had considered "proper" but both he and his soon-to-be wife were having none of it.

Beneath the harbor, hovering just below the surface, was the reason for the venue of the wedding. Ariel's family and friends were gathered to watch their little girl become a woman. Everyone from King Triton to the smallest clam had turned out for the occasion. It was crowded, for sure, and if it wasn't for King Triton's magic, their presence would have surely been obvious.

Within the crowd, you probably wouldn't be able to pick out the young man. We was, you see, rather plain looking. He possessed a mop of dirty-blond hair, and was slightly tan. He possessed some muscle, but not enough to make him stand out. The only things that really made him distinctive were the scar stretching across his face, and the mangled end of his pale green tail.

His eyes were focused on what was going on above ground. His face was expressionless, save for the slight tightening of his mouth as time passed.

It was only when the "I do"s were said that an expression graced his face. The expression was one of anger. He whirled around, swimming through the crowd as the two lovers above locked lips. No one paid him any mind.

He cut through the water with a fluidity that was uncommon, even for a mer-person. His face was determined, however, which probably explained his haste.

He was far away from everything, when he finally came to an abrupt halt. His chest heaved, the breaths escaping his lips only to dart straight back in again. He coughed briefly, bending over at the middle.

Though he quieted after a moment, he didn't unbend. In fact, he curled up tighter, until he was just a ball floating in the middle of the ocean. His silver eyes were hidden from the world, as his hands were shielding his face. A single tear ran down his face, before it mixed with the water around him.

He drew in a shaking breath, before he straightened himself.

"It's OK," Urchin whispered to himself. "It's all OK."

A/N I always felt so...I don't know...like betrayed maybe? after watching the series. I mean...I felt so bad for Urchin! It was so obvious he loved Ariel! I just kind of wanted to write this for him...I may write something more about him, or how the whole thing effected his psych, or whatnot...I don't know. What do you guys think?

If you have any pairing (cannon or not) or story in any Disney animated movie or series that you would like to have written about, please tell me! Thanks!

Anywho, please review!
