Fae and Sebastian are coming back from a romantic date when a storm hits. Fae curls up against Sebastian in the carriage.
"Driver? Can we hurry it up please." says Sebastian
"I'll spread up a little sir but it's not safe to do so." says the driver
Sebastian sighs and soothes Fae, they were almost home anyways. Of course the storm turns into a very bad thunderstorm and they almost get hit by lightening. Fae yelps and buries into Sebastian.
"It's okay, kitten. It'll be over soon. I got you." says Sebastian
"I trust you" she says
"I'm glad" says Sebastian
He still soothes her though knowing how afraid she really is right now. She's always been afraid of storms since he knew her probably before then. He remembers the first storm.
Three years ago:
Sebastian was serving Fae a big dinner, for the first time ever and a big thunderstorm was going on. He turned his back for one minute when Fae runs away to hide. She's terrified of the storm, she's always been that way, she can't help it. Sebastian turns around and sees that she's gone. He goes into a search and finds her hiding in a closet.
"What are you doing, Lady Fae. Aren't you a little to old for hide and seek?" asks Sebastian
"T-the storm " says Fae, shaking.
"The storm?" asks Sebastian
There was a large crack of lightening goes against the sky. He catches her and keeps her from running. He learns what's going on, Fae is afraid of the storm. He scoops her up and puts her on her chair and closes the blinds all around her and puts on the fireplace. He gets out a violen and plays it loudly drowning out the storm. It helps a lot and she starts relaxing. The storm starts slowing down in an hour.
"Thanks" says Fae
"No problem, mi'lady" says Sebastian, smiling
Back to Now:
The storm gets worse as they go. They continue on the road and the thunder and rain picks up. They have to stop a couple times because it was unsafe to drive. As soon as Sebastian rushes her inside the house and gets her dried off and some hot chocolate in her. He even makes him some as cuddles into him as the rain calms down.
"Thank you for soothing me tonight." says Fae, kissing his cheek
"Anytime" says Sebastian
They kiss and enjoy the gentle rain outside. It's not long until they are both asleep in front of the fireplace just as the rain stops. It's a very peaceful night for the both of them.
The End
