They came.
All at once, they came. From where ever they were, whatever they had been doing, they stopped. And turned. And came.
Some met up with others. And they joined together on their journey. Bound by adventures from long ago, or by simply knowing each other. But though they traveled together, they did not slow. Still, they came.
There was no fighting between them. Their destination was too important. Something that must be done, by all of them. They all had an obligation. Grievances with their fellow travelers could wait.
They came.
They all remembered. Every one of them had had an experience. An adventure that changed them. Their lives. Their points of view. And every one of them had a long memory. Things of that nature did not happen every decade.
They were reaching their destination. As they drew closer, more of them met with more of the others. Groups grew. Acquaintances were made. Bonded together by a story that had threaded its way into all of their lives. All over the world.
There! They knew. They knew they had found the object of each of their journeys. And their one, collective journey had come to reach its goal.
A house. Just a simple little house. One small house in a quiet little town in the region of Kanto.
It did not matter about the region or the town or even the little house. What mattered to them, was the person inside it.
Needless to say, when they arrived, they caused quite a commotion. People were not used to creatures like them to come there. But the object of their journey, and all others who lived in that house, were not afraid. Indeed, the man they had come to see, only smiled widely at their arrival. He had not expected them, but he was glad that they had come.
He was older now, and were he in the situations he had once sought out, things would not have gone half as well. But his spirit was the same as always.
Just as they had remembered.
He had a family now. A larger one. His wife recalled some of the travelers from her own times with her husband, but some of them she was unfamiliar with. She had heard the stories of course, as had their children, but to hear of legends, and then to see them...
All of them…
He did the introductions in the order of how he had met them. And as he showed them his family, he retold their story.
The Story of Legends.

Ok, I'm not entirely sure how this popped out. Well, I know I got inspired by the intro to "The Rise of Darkrai" (Best Pokémon movie intro ever). I've always had an idea kind of like this one rattling inside my brain. But I don't know how it popped out like this. This was not the style I expected. But it's fun! Hope you enjoy the read, (maybe review, please?) and stay tuned for more. This is a tale of Legends after all. One can't expect it to be over in just a few chapters. =^-^=
