"Wake up!" Shouted Turren's mother. "You're going to miss the bus if you don't get up!" Turren rolled out of bed and hit the floor with a thud. She got up and walked to the bathroom and began brushing her pink hair quickly when she noticed something was different. She looked closer into the mirror. Her hair was a shade lighter. She made a mental note to re-dye it later. She brushed her teeth and put on her girly stuff that made her not stink and changed out of her pajamas, grabbed her bag and ran out the door for the bus, hoping she didn't miss it. At the bus stop she realized she forgot her lunch money right when the bus pulled up to the curb. She walked on and passed the psychos and bums in the front to the back of the bus where her two best friends, who had also been blessed with the benefit of using public transportation to get to school, sat. "Hey Clover, Hi Leigha. How goes it?" she said as she sat down and dropped her backpack on the sticky bus floor. "Good." Said Leigha mechanically while she vacantly stared at dust particles in the air. "The sun! IT BURNS!" hissed Clover very loudly and pulled her hood over her head. "I do wish it would stop being so damn sunny." Said Turren. "I miss the rain." "Umm, Turren? Are you stoned?" said Leigha looking at her rather then the ever so interesting dust particles. "What? No, of course not. " Said Turren, quite confuzzled. "You're eyes are kind of glazed over." She said with a concerned look on her face. "FUCKING YAY!" yelled Clover. All the bus psychos turned around and looked at her but she didn't seem to notice. Clover had a habit of not noticing things. "It's raining!" The rest of the bus ride they talked of trivial things such as whether or not Vash is hot and if Cosmic Bob is better than Bouncing Souls.

Author's Note: Woo. First really short chapter finished. I COMMAND YEE TO REVIEW! OK, so I kind of stole the idea of this story from Leigha. For those who haven't read Strange Becomings (the original) it's about Leigha and her friends and how they turn into LOTR beings. This is different since A: the plot is completely different: 2, it's not about LOTR in any shape, way or form and D: because I said so. Pretty much the only thing the same is the concept of normal people changing and the title. I read Leigha's mind and she thought it was O.K. The plot of x-men and this are very much different indeed. There is some foul language in this but nothing a normal 13-year-old hasn't heard so it's PG13. The rest of the content is all Daisies and flutterbys. Anyhoo read and review!
