My version of The Lion King 3, done with the original Disney cast and my own set of characters…this is just the intro for the story, starting it of with somewhat of a tragedy.
So, just R/R, please-thanks.
Prologue
Kiara panted heavily as she looked down at the cub that had just come from inside of her. The small tawny ball of fur mewled and shivered, making the tired lioness smile and she began to lick at the babe, cleaning it.
Kovu ran over to his bride, anxious at what awaited him. Seeing the cub embraced in Kiara's paws, he froze disbelieving.
"Is…is that…?" he stammered.
"Yes," answered a very proud Simba, "That's your cub."
Kovu finally took a step towards his lioness. He bent his head down to get a closer look at the child, still amazed.
Suddenly, he burst out laughing, "Haha, yes! This is- wow! Haha!"

The animals of all types burst out with excitement at the site of the small cub being raised to the sky by the paws of the ancient Rafiki. They stomped and bellowed their cheers, celebrating the existence of the new heir. Even the lionesses in at the entrance of Pride Rock roared.
The cub's wide blue eyes gazed at the animals beneath him in wonder. He batted his paws playfully as if trying to get at them, mewing happily.
Both Simba and Nala looked as proud as any grandparents could be, with Kiara and Kovu beaming even brighter.
Rafiki soon brought the baby back down to them. "What have you decided for a name?" He asked.
"Kulani." Kiara answered. She nuzzled Kovu, purring.
Pumbaa and Timon trotted towards the happy couple. "Please tell me that this kid's a boy…" Timon sighed.
Simba nodded. "Yep. But that just means more responsibilities for you guys."
The two friends sighed simultaneously, but smiled nonetheless.

"Daddy!! Daddy, wake up!!" Kiara practically screamed.
Simba jolted up quickly, as did the other lionesses.
"What, what is it??" He asked frantically as he saw the frightened looks on Kovu and Kiara's faces.
"It's Kulani. He's gone." Kovu shuddered.
"What? Have you looked for him?" Nala asked, starting to worry.
"Everywhere, but we can't find him!!" Kiara broke into heaving sobs.
Simba thought for a moment, and then looked up. "Nala, you and the lionesses will stay with Kiara. Kovu, Pumbaa, Timon and I will go looking."
The lioness nodded.
As Simba and the others tore out of the cave, one thought crossed his mind, "Not again…"

So, how was it? Good, bad? Tell me, thanks.
