A/N: i don't own yyh warning character death(s)! yes there is more than one death

Keiko walked to her empty bed in her empty house. Yusuke and the other boys had gone off to fight a war in makai. There had been many letters, but know there weren't. Keiko sighed and prayed that Yuske would return before the baby was born. So much had happened Kuwabara was the fisrt to die when he was shot down. Yukina and Shizuru were devestated. Kurama and Hiei died next. They had been killed in a bombing raid. Keko had never seen Botan and Yukina cry so much. Turns out Botan loved Kurama and Yukina had know for a long time that Hiei was her brother. Kurama's mom, Shiori, was heartbroken about her son's death. Keiko was about to go to sleep when something caught her eye. It was a letter. She opened it and ngen reading.

If you're reading this and my mama's sitting there looks like I only got a one-way ticket over here I sure wish I could give you one more kiss and war was just a game we played when we were kids well I'm laying down my gun I'm hanging up my boots I'm up here with God and we're both watching over you

So lay me down in that open field out on the edge of town and know my soul is where my momma always prayed that it would go and if your reading this I'm already home

If you're reading this half way around the world I won't be there to see the birth of our little girl I hope she looks like you I hope she fights like me stands up for the innocent and the weak I'm laying down my gun I'm hanging up my boots tell dad I don't regret that I followed in his shoes

So lay me down in that open field out on the edge of town and know my soul is where my momma always prayed that it would go and if your reading this I'm already home

If you're reading this there's gonna come a day when you move on and find someone else and that's okay just remember this I'm in a better place where soliders live in peace and angels sing Amazing Grace

So lay me down in that open field out on the edge of town and know my soul is where my momma always prayed that it would go and if you're reading this I'm already home

Love, Yusuke

keiko knew now that Yusuke would never come home again. So she placed the letter under her head and fell into a peaceful sleep with tears streaming down her face.

(5 years later)

A little girl stood in front of one of the for headstones, with a white rose in her hand. She wore a green dress, had brown hair and chocolate eyes. She placed the flower on the headstone and said a little pray. And before she walked away she said "I'm sorry I"ll never get to know you but know this mommy loves you and I love you to." She stood up and stared to walk away, then stopped and turned around. "Goodbye daddy." she whispered.
