She gazed into his eyes. Even with his glasses, he was handsome. Handsome indeed. His brown eyes gazed deep into her purple ones, and he kissed her again.

"You're beautiful." he said again.

She smiled at him, and watched as he smiled back. She scooted closer to him and nestled her face into his chest. He put his arm around her, and turned his attention to the sky. Shaking her lightly, he pointed to the darkness of the night sky. She looked up at the air, then at him.

"It's gonna start any minute now." he smiled. She looked at him, puzzled.

"What?" she questioned. He looked at her.

"The fireworks, remember?"

"We don't have to be on the roof of your house you know. I'd be happy to put on my disguise so we could be down there with the other couples."

"No." he replied. "I would NEVER make you do that. Besides," he pulled her closer. "You look prettier like this." she gazed at him, and her heart fluttered. He had that goofy smile of his glued to his face.

"I love you Tak."

"And I love you, Dib."

They both turned their attention to the sky, and watched the fireworks.
