Acid Pops: A person missing another.

Not a second goes by,

He crumpled the paper and mumbled quietly to himself: "That I don't think about you."

There was an ache in his heart that was so large he didn't think he could bare it any longer. It hurt so much; so much so, in fact, that the pain was almost becoming physical. The discomfort he was beginning to feel was branching from the uneasiness he felt of not having her by his side every night.

Sometimes, too long, was just too long.

It was beginning to bother him more immensely than it had initially- the day she had left for duty.

He missed her, and he was worried about her.

But he knew, deep down- Remus knew- that his Tonks, was the best auror the Ministry had ever employed and that being a fairly new one, this would bring her rank up incredibly high.

He was proud of her, to say the least, and he would remain so.

Shaking off his fear, and trying desperately not to miss her, he completed a short letter sending her his love and thoughts, and then curled into bed on her side.
