Though, Lavina should be excited for her first vacation in who knows how many years, instead, she couldn't help but feel nervous. As she looked around she didn't see any other angels here, which made her feel self-conscious about her rather large wings, there wasn't anything she could do about them so she just kept them as close to her as possible. She took a deep breath and entered the castle only to be completely wowed, the interior was so warm and inviting compared to the exterior which looked like something straight out of an old horror film. She made her way to the front desk, "I'd like to book a room for one please." She stated with a kind smile, though she was a bit upset when she basically admitted she was single. She smiled once again as the zombie concierge handed her the key to her room, "Thank you." She said as she turned to walk away now all she had to do was get there as fast as possible, though it may seem a bit strange, she didn't typically talk to anyone unless she absolutely had to.
After searching for about an hour for her room she started becoming nervous that she would never find it. She moved her wings from being against her back to being over her shoulders, she gently took hold of one and started running her hand through it, it was a nervous habit of hers and luckily it came with the added benefit of knowing when her wings needed to be cleaned, "Ugh, I need to get my wings preened while I'm here." She said as she walked up more stairs only to see another monster, looks like she was going to have to ask for help, "Excuse me, but I'm a bit lost. Could you help me?" She asked as she approached the cloaked figure.
"What can I help you with?" He inquired as he turned to face me with a warm smile. She was shocked to see none other than Count Dracula himself. She was at a loss for words for how attractive he was, it was almost as if she zinged. She shook her head clear of the thought before she spoke up, "Oh uh, I was just a bit lost. I can't seem to find my room." She stated nervously only to notice that instead of looking at her key to guide her where she wants to go, he was looking at her wings. He stretches out his hand and gently touched one of them, his touch felt pleasant, almost comforting, "You seem a bit stressed, and your wings could use a cleaning, so why don't I take you there instead? I'll have your bags taken to your room and I can show you where to go after your wings are taken care of."
Lavina took a moment to think, maybe she was just stressed and her wings were bothering her, "Sure that sounds nice." She said with a small smile, little did she know that was the moment Dracula had zinged with her as well.
