Eddie slowly drifted awake, greeted with a blaring alarm. She tuned it off, and looked over at Jamie. Always a heavy sleeper, he remained undisturbed by the alarm. She gently traced a swirly pattern on his chest, hoping to wake him up.

He smiled, and she said, "Rise and shine, sleepy." He had gotten back from his tour late, and had only been sleeping for a couple of hours. She padded away from the bed, and heard Jamie put a pot of coffee on.

After she slipped her kimono robe on, she walked into the kitchen, and softly kissed Jamie's neck. He grabbed her and pulled her onto his lap. She sighed, "Not now, lamp chop. We gotta look at the house in Brooklyn." Jamie smiled.

"Eddie, I've got a really good feeling about this one."

"Hon, it's completely out of our price range. Plus, it's in Brooklyn- not the city."

"Ed, Brooklyn is in the city! We'll be near my family. Plus, we both took those sergeant's tests, and I've got to be looking at a promotion soon, or goddamit, I might just go to Nassau PD. Plus, you just hit top pay."

"Alrighty. You seem actually interested about this house. And I'm excited too. Maybe we could finally make little baby Reagans."

Jamie kissed her softly, and then whispered in her ear, "I can't wait."
