"You know that Winry's still in love with you right, Brother?"
Asked the younger Elric brother, know as Alphonse, one day while sitting on his brother's bed.
"Yeah." Answered the older brother know as Edward.
"Did you ever love her back?" Al asked again
"No, I didn't."
"Then who do you love, Brother?"
"A guy I know."
"A guy? Brother does that mean..."
"Yeah, it does."
Al had to contain all of the excitement that he had when he had just found out that his brother didn't like women.
"What's he like?" Alphonse asked his brother.
Surprised that his brother didn't walk away in disgust, he continued to answer his little brother's questions.
"He's really funny and he nags me a lot like he's my mother or something."
"Doesn't that get annoying?"
"It use to but I've gotten use to it by now, you see I've known him since birth."
Ed answered.
"Oh, Is that so." Al said as tears started to fall from his eyes.
"Al? Why are you crying?" Edward asked with concern as to why his little brother was crying.
"Nothing, It just that I thought that you loved me, that's all.
But it turns out that you're in love with someone else.
I gotta go!"
Al got up from his brother's bed and ran towards the front door that lead to freedom from his humiliation by thinking that his brother could ever love him as anything more than just a brother but Al didn't make it past the bedroom door when hear his brother scream his name.
"ALPHONSE!!" Al stopped dead in his tracks.
"You don't get it, do you?" Edward asked his little brother as he stood up with closed eyes, shaking his head from side to side, chuckling to himself.
"What's so damn funny!?!
You know it rude to laugh at other people's feeling, Ya know?!" The younger Elric exclaimed as he turned around to his older brother that he had loved so much as hot tears fell down his creamy face.
"I'm laughing because of all people I thought that you would understand."
"Understand what?" Al asked with anger in his voice as he wiped the tears from his eyes.
"That I love you, an not as a brother anyway.
Just think about it:
Nobody would ever risk their lives for their brother like the way we do no matter how strong the relationship is."
"R-really?! Are you telling me the truth or are you just toying with me?" Al stuttered.
"I would never do that to the person I love.
Or should I say the man I love."
Al's face completely lit up.
"Now, Are you going to stand there all day are you going to give your brother a hug?" Ed said as he welcomed Al with open arms (Literally).
Al did just as instructed and ran into his brother's arms as their lips met and sweet nothings passed thought their mouths.
Falling backwards onto the bed, the two lovers kissed each other as they fell asleep in each other arms happy to know that had finally got to be together.
Now and forever.
