Welcome to my fanfiction series The Adventures of Mermaid Princess Tsubomi. This fanfiction takes inspiration from the 1991 26-episode Japanese-French animated television series Saban's Adventures of the Little Mermaid (Known in Japan as The Adventures of Mermaid Princess Marina / 人魚姫マリーナの冒険) as well as also the early to late 2000 26-episode Canadian-German animated television series Rainbow Fish, the newly released early 2019 Japanese mermaid slice of life anime television series Bermuda Triangle: Colorful Pastrale (バミューダトライアングル ーカラフルパストラーレー) and then lastly, the late 1992-1994 American first-run saturday morning animated television series Disney's The Little Mermaid: Ariel's Undersea Adventures, which also acted as a prequel to the late 1989 American theatrical animated movie of the same name. In this story, all of the Precures are mermaids (up to Hugtto) living in the underwater kingdom of Celestia, with Tsubomi as the princess of the kingdom.
I only own the story of this fanfiction. However, I don't own any of the Pretty Cure franchise and I probably never will. It currently belongs to TV Asahi / Asahi Broadcasting Corporation and Toei Animation Co, Ltd.

Deep down in the far reaches of the ocean, where no anchor can reach the bottom. There lives people who can breathe underwater and have fish tails instead of legs, Merpeople as they are usually called.
Unlike the humans who live on land and polute their own environment, Merpeople appreciate the ocean and every living creature living in it. They also have a very long lifespan of up to 300 years and when they die, they turn into sea foam and nothing more.
The underwater kingdom of Celestia at the heart of the Pacific Ocean is the home of all merpeople alongside the other kingdoms under the sea and is mainly the home of Princess Tsubomi Hanasaki as well as her family and friends.

It was a normal day in the kingdom of Celestia as all of the merpeople in the kingdom were preparing for the day. At this time, a pink tailed mermaid with blonde hair and pink eyes wearing a white tank top with a pink heart on it was swimming through the kingdom on the way to Aquatica High School, the kingdom's local school for mer-teenagers.
Meanwhile in the palace, Tsubomi was sleeping peacefully in her coral bed
