A/N: Just something I wrote because I was bored. I hope you like it. It was fun to write. Anyway, don't forget to review! Sorry that it's so short.
Please ignore any/all grammar errors I made. I try to fix them all, but it doesn't always work.
Disclaimer: Do I look like J.K. Rowling? No, I don't own Harry Potter.
It seemed to be a Lupin thing.
His grandfather was five years older than his grandmother (from what he read in his father's journal). His father was thirteen years older than his mother, and he was ten years older than his new wife. Just as the Potter's preferred redheads, the Lupin's were attracted to younger women.
"Teddy, what are you thinking about?" Teddy looked up from him his father's journal to see his beautiful wife, Lily Luna Lupin (Potter).
"My family," He answered simply as he shifted in his chair. Lily went to stand behind him, wrapping her thin arms around his neck and kissing his neck.
"What about your family?" The nineteen year old asked, before she went back to kissing his neck.
Teddy held back a shiver. It was amazing the things that she could do to him.
"Well, you know how the Potter's tend to marry redheads," He felt her nod. "Well, it seems that the Lupin men end up marrying younger women." He felt the kisses on his neck stop.
"What do you mean?" She asked.
"Well John, my grandfather, married my grandmother, who was five years younger than him. Then, you have my parents, Remus and Tonks, who had a thirteen year age difference between them. And of course, you have us, with a ten year age difference." Teddy explained. "Lupin men like younger women."
Lily didn't say anything at first; instead she removed her arms around her husband's neck and moved to sit in his lap.
"Well, we'll have to see if that trait will be passed on to our child." Lily said with a smile, her eyes sparkling. It took Teddy a moment to understand what she was saying. After realizing what she was saying, his eyes widened.
"Our child, you mean you're pregnant?" Teddy asked. Lily nodded, her lips tugged up in a small smile.
Before Lily could blink, Teddy was kissing her with all the love he could muster. Lily smiled into the kiss and wrapped her arms around her husband's neck. They sat there for a while, kissing each other. After a while, Teddy broke the kiss and rested his forehead against Lily's, both were breathing heavily.
"You're right, we will have to see if it's passed down to our child." Teddy said with a smile.
"I love you," Lily whispered.
"I love you too, I love both of you." He whispered back, resting his hand against her still slim belly and pulling her into another long, beautiful kiss.
