The Eye and the Staff

Link and Soren live on two separate worlds, Earth and Tamriel. But soon they will be brought together by the will of the Psijic Order, a great army dedicated to keeping three evil forces in check that have, for too long a time, threatened the very fabric of the universe: Magnus, Alduin, and Demise.

This is a prologue to a potential story. I'm not going to start on it seriously just yet, as I'm still working on my current story Guardian of Power, but I just had to get the initial brain vomit out on paper. Or something resembling paper. Please review!

I am Magnus.

I am Magnus, more powerful than any god or mortal. I am Magnus, and the universe is mine. I am Magnus, and no Psijic can stand against me, nor any force on Earth, nor any force on Tamriel. I am Magnus, and I will rule. This is my day.

I am Demise.

I am Demise, the greatest fear of every soul. I am Demise, and I shall tear down anyone who dares try to evade me, slowly, painfully. I am Demise, the last entity that any mortal will ever encounter. I am Demise, and I will rule. This is my day.

I am Alduin.

I am Alduin, the nightmare image of every man, woman, and child. I am Alduin, deliverer of fire, drinker of blood. I am Alduin, destroyer of worlds. I am Alduin, and I will rule. This is my day.

I am the Fierce Deity.

I am the Fierce Deity, divine commander of the Psijic Order. I am the Fierce Deity, the hope and light of the universe in a time of evil. I am the Fierce Deity, and I shall lead the Psijic Order to victory against the monsters that infest the universe. I am the Fierce Deity, and I will rule. This is my day.

I am Dovahkiin.

I am Dovahkiin, the harbinger of the Psijic's Presence. I am Dovahkiin, the hero of the world and the savior of Tamriel. I am Dovahkiin, the soul of a dragon in the body of a man. I am Dovahkiin, and I shall rule. This is my day.

I am Link.

I am Link, Hero of Time and vision of courage. I am Link, mortal become immortal by the will of the Psijics. I am Link, defender of Earth and soul of valor. I am Link, and I shall rule. This is my day.
