Kari woke up not feeling her best she was 13 and in the 7th grade, Tai dared her to race him bit she shook her head and stood up this made her feel dizzy. She walked to the door after getting ready.
"aren't you going to have breakfast sweety" asked
"No there is breakfast a school today and yolei wanted to eat it with me" lied kari the truth was kari felt sick to her stomach and wanted to fall asleep. But her stomach was killing her, tai shot a glance at kari realizing the small goosebumps on her arm it was 80 degrees out why was she cold? Though tai he figured she was just nervous.
"Ok then have a good day sweety" said . Kari nodded and walked to school her head was killing her the sun was making more sweat on her scalp.
"Hi kari" cheered TK.
"hey TK" said Kari with a croaky voice. Her throat really hurt along with every other body part.
"Do you feel ok Kari" asked TK. His voice and eyes seemed to be worried full of concern.
"No I feel fine" said kari this time followed by a sneeze. Her face seemed pale and her cheeks seemed red like when he got sunburn.
"come over here Kari" said Tk. Kari walked over he placed his left hand in her forehead. TK took his hand off.
"you seem very hot and flushed kari are you sure your not sick?" asked TK
"Im fine TK please belive me" said kari TK nods but still did not belive kari. They head in to school 1st period was math TK sat in the chair next to kari But as she started getting comfortable she saw her book turn in to a snake! she screamed at the top of her lungs It pained her much but she had a fear of snakes.
"Help me someone help TK, YOLEI, TAI!l shouted kari. TK calmed her down the teacher walked over to kari.
"Kari are you OK" Asked the teacher. Kari kept on screaming the words "snake get away" the teacher look at kari and felt her forehead. Kari suddenly threw up and passed out.
"KARI" screamed TK. The teacher carried Kari to the nurse. TK started to cry.
"What's wrong takeru" asked hailey a girl in the class.
"I knew kari was sick it's my fault" cried TK
"no it's not takeru she is going home because she got a sick you did nothing wrong" explained hailey
(NURSES OFFICE)
"she is running a fever of 102 we better call her parents" said the nurse
"good idea" said the teacher he walked out to see TK dart by the teacher headed black to the classroom he knew how Tk felt.
"Kari" yelled TK as he ran in the nurses office.
" we'll she is to sick for school please come pick her up thankyou bye" the nurse was talking to mrs kamiya.
" whats wrong" asked the nurse
"can I see kari" asked TK his eyes were glazed with fear.
"she is still passed out but she is in that bed over there." Explained the nurse. TK ran up to kari she layed still only her chest was moving. Tk started to cry he had never seen kari so sick even at the digiworld when she got sick she didnt look that bad. suddenly walked in,
"Is kari here?" Asked Kari's mother.
" over there" Said the nurse. she walked over to where TK was and picked up kari.
"will she be ok" asked TK
"Don't worry Tk kari has been worse she will be ok." explained mrs kamiya She carried kari to the car and let her lay in the backseat. until they got home.

kari awoke to seeing tai. Tai looked at her.
"how are you feeling" asked tai.
"sick " replied kari her mom walked in with the thermometer and placed in Kari's mouth.
" Stubborn fever won't break!" Said Kari's mom
"mom can I take a nap " asked kari.
" Sure right after you take some medicine" said mrs kamiya. kari took her medicine and fell asleep.
the next day kari still was ill. Her fever was now 101.5 and she still slept the next day and was abetter
