Lea was sitting in her 'directors' chair that every cast mate got. She was the lead in a new movie that would only premiere in one of those film festivals in April. She was sitting over by the other lead, Juliana. The movie they were staring in was a simple movie about how two girls move to a new city over the summer and it caught their summer adventures. It was the type of movie that would only show in a film festival. But, Lea was happy; she was staring in a movie. Her agent told her that once she did a few movies for film festivals, she would have professional directors knocking on her front door. Lea only smiled and thanked her agent for saying that, and for believing in her.

"Cut!" The director said, Lea looked up. Jason and Drew just finished the scene they had with some random beach girls. Jason and Drew were kind of rivals, not in the acting they did, but when it came to girls. They both had a thing for Lea, but she didn't feel the same way for them. They knew, but they didn't give up. So whenever they finished shooting Lea always got to another room, or another part of set. But this time she didn't have enough time to move, the director wanted to talk to everyone.

"Okay guys. Everyone! We need to talk." He started. "This is your last week of shooting then this movie is finally wrapped. Now Lea and Juliana, you are done for today, you can go home, or your welcome to stay here. Jason you have about three or so more scenes tonight and then I just have to work with Drew. So everyone can take a break. Lea and Juliana I'll see you guys tomorrow, were gonna shoot the house party scenes when you too are in the basement with the list, okay?" They nodded out heads. "Great! See you two tomorrow."

Lea got up and started to walk to the changing trailers to get out of her outfit, which was a cute light pick sundress. Juliana followed after her. "Hey, Lea. Wait up." Lea slowed down.

"Yeah?" Lea asked.

"You doing anything tonight?" Juliana asked.

"Yeah, I gotta head back up to San Francisco. I gotta finish packing. Rain check?" Lea smiled.

"Sure. I thought you finished though?" They walked into the trailer.

"Well, I have just about everything, just a few things that need to be taken last minute." Lea went and changed into some jeans and a tee-shirt.

"Do you need any help?" Juliana was always the kind of girl that loved to help. She had also helped Lea before, well helped Lea pick out the apartment she was moving into.

"Nah, there's just like two or three boxes, my Escalade can handle it. But, thanks anyway." Lea smiled. "I'll see you tomorrow." She hugged her, threw on her sunglasses that are dark so people can't see her eyes, and quickly went to her car. She started it and cooled it down, it was about 90 or so degrees and it was like 2:00 in the afternoon. It wasn't normal, but she got over it. Besides, she wasn't the one controlling it.

She was only about fifteen or twenty miles away from set when her 'check engine' light went off. She sighed, just at the same time her phone rang.

"Hello?" Lea asked, just as she was putting it on speaker so she could drive.

"Lea! Where are you?" Her best friend, Jonathan asked.

"What?" Lea asked, oh. It hit her. "Are you on set?"

"Yeah, and I'm looking for you." Jonathan said.

"I'm in my car, turning into some L.A. auto shop. The check engine light is on again." Lea said, doing exactly what she was talking about.

"Lee, you need to warn me when you leave, before I make it all the way to set. I have like a hour drive back to Zach's." Jonathan said.

"Yes, Jon. I know, and I'm sorry. Rain check?" She said, she kind of had a little habit for rain checks, but everyone was fine with it. They knew she was a busy girl.

"Of course, Lee. But I think I learned my lesson. I gotta learn to call you before I leave."

"Yeah, you do. Gotta go. Love you." Lea said, turning her car off.

"Love you, too. Call me tomorrow." Jonathan said.

"Will do, bye." And with that she hung up, got out of the car, and went inside the auto shop.

She instantly saw a man sitting at the desk they had there. He was reading a bunch of paper, which were probably insurance polices. "Excuse me?" She asked.

The man looked up for a second, then back at the papers. "Yes, ma'am?"

"My check engine light-"

He interrupted her, "Cory! Get out here! This little girl needs help."

"I'm not a little girl." She mumbled.

Then some guy walked out, she assumed he must be Cory.

"What seems to be the problem miss?" He asked, taking his towel that was in his belt and wiping his greasy hands on it.

"My check engine light just came on." She took her sunglasses off and put them in her purse.

"Well, let's check it out then." He started to walk toward the door, Lea followed him.

She showed him her car. "May I please see your keys? I'll bring it in the garage." He asked, she nodded and handed him the keys. "You can wait in there for now." He pointed to the garage that had a bench in it. She walked over to it and sat there while he pulled the car in.

He had the car hood open so he could check it out. "You need an oil change." He said, Lea looked up at him.

"Okay, can you do it?" She asked.

"Of course. Shouldn't take too long." He smiled at her; she smiled back and took her phone out. She went on her Facebook. She had about twenty notifications. But, of course they were all from Jonathan; he liked to just like random things on her timeline. She quickly got off when Cory called for her.

"Yeah?" She answered back.

"Come here." He said, politely.

She went over to him. He pointed at some tube in her car. "You see that?" She nodded. "That is where the oil goes in. If you ever decide to do it yourself. Then you just pull this out and make sure the oil mark it up to here." He pointed to the yellow stripe on the small metal pole.

"Thank you." She said.

"Welcome, I'll drive your car out, go inside and I'll be in for you to pay." She nodded and went back inside, the man that was sitting there at the desk hadn't moved, nor did he look up to see Lea walk back in. She thought he was kind of rude, but he was probably the manager, so she didn't say anything.

"Okay." Cory startled her, her head snapped to him. "Should be about eighty bucks." She nodded; she went to look in her purse.

"I left my wallet in my car; I'm gonna go grab it. Sorry." She said, walking toward the car.

"I'll come, that way you can get to where ever you're going." He said, following her.

"How do you know I'm going somewhere?" She asked getting her wallet from the glove department.

"I can see it in your eyes. You look like you're like ready to fly off to like Paris or something." He said.

"No, just going to get a few boxes from my old house in San Francisco, back down here at my new apartment. Nowhere special." She lightly laughed and handed him one hundred bucks.

"Oh. Well I'll go get your change." He went to walk back inside but Lea stopped him.

"No, keep it. Thank you." Lea said.

"No, thank you. I didn't catch your name." Cory said. "I mean you know mine is Cory, what's yours?"

She smiled, got in her car, shut the door, turned it on and rolled down the window. "Lea." She said, slowly backing out of the parking space Cory put her car.

"Can I see you again, Lea?" He blurted out. He didn't mean to ask her that, it just came out. It was like something came over him, he never did this to a girl before, but Lea was hot. He wanted to see her.

"If were meant to see each other again, we will." She smiled, "Bye Cory." She said, pulling out of the auto shop parking lot. She glanced out her rear view mirror as she left, she saw Cory standing there with a smile on his face, but she could tell he was a little confused. She wanted to see him again, but she needed to focus on the last week of shooting. Maybe if her car like breaks down or something, she'll visit again. She smiled and drove off.

She got back to her house, which was now for sale. She quickly went inside, got the few boxes, and checked around to make sure she got everything. Her phone went off again. It was Jonathan...again.

"Hello my babe." Jonathan said, before Lea could say hi.

"Hi. What's up? Why you calling again? Is something wrong?" Lea asked, walking around the house checking every room before walking out to her car again.

"No, Lee. I just wanted to call you and say that I love you." Jonathan said.

"What's going on?" Lea was worried.

"I'm leaving Lea." Jonathan said, Lea could feel his frown on the phone.

"Wh-what?" Lea stammered, she was about to start bawling, but she knew Jonathan hated to hear her cry.

"I'm leaving tomorrow." Jonathan said,

"Where are you going?" Lea felt tears slowly go down her face, while she sat in her car.

"I have a workshop, but it's like boarding school." Jonathan said, he knew he was breaking her heart.

"Will I still be able to talk to you?" Lea said, she was calming down now.

"I hope. Lea if I can, you will be the first one to know." Jonathan said.

"I love you." Lea said, holding back a sniffle.

"I love you, too. Lea, I do. I have to go, I'm packing." Jonathan said.

She nodded. "I'll miss you."

"I'll miss you, too." Jonathan said.

She really didn't want to say goodbye cause she didn't know the next time she would talk to him.

"I have to go." He whispered.

"I know." Lea cried. "I don't want to say goodbye, Jon."

"Then don't. It's not a goodbye, it's only a 'talk to you later.'" Jonathan said.

"I'll talk to you later." She choked out.

"I'll talk to you later." Right after he said that he hung up, they both knew that Lea wouldn't have the heart to hang up. When she heard the 'click' on her phone she knew he was gone.

She sat in her car for about twenty more minutes, just sobbing. But it wasn't long before she was on the road again.

She got back to LA in record time. She was heading to her new apartment, she could see the auto shop she stopped at and had met Cory. She suddenly slammed on her brakes. It was a good thing no one was driving behind her. She quickly pulled into the parking lot of the shop.

She shut her car off and got out in record time. She ran into the shop. This time the guy sitting at the desk looked up at her.

"Can I help you ma'am?" He asked, Lea was still silently crying, she still had tears running down her face.

"Is-is Cory here still?" She asked, wiping some of her non-stopping tears.

"I'm sorry, ma'am. He left about ten minutes ago." He smiled apologetically.

"Okay, thank you anyway." She slowly turned around and walked outside. She didn't go to her car though. Once she closed the door she looked to her right, there was about a five foot wide wall before the garage. She stood against it before sliding down and hugging her knees. She knew she was a little stupid for even wanting to see Cory. But she wanted to feel his arms around her, she never really believed in love at first sight. But now, she was starting to believe.
