This is set after the scene that is featured in the promo for 'I Am Unicorn', where Shelby and Quinn talk. This one shot is based on the idea on my profile and is just to celebrate Quick coming back!

He sees her walk out of the classroom, her head bowed and arms wrapped around her, shaking. To respect her wishes of 'being independent', he stays back. She continues to walk down the hallway, all drive to remember her 'bad girl' image appears to be forgotten before she runs into a classroom, hands over her face. No one goes after her, she goes unnoticed, except for Puck. "Fuck independence," he thinks "she needs someone." Puck walks casually down the hallway towards the classroom, not wanting to draw attention to the situation. He knows this is probably over Beth, a situation only he understands. When he reaches the classroom, he turns the knob as quietly as he can, not wanting to scare her. He remembers how easy she gets scared, like the time where she thought there was a burglar in the house and couldn't sleep because she remembered when she was little and her house was burgled.

Puck walks back into the bedroom and hops under the covers, reassuring Quinn that there is no one in the house. As he turns the lights back off and tries to get back to sleep, he hears whimpering from the other side of the bed. He rolls over to find Quinn with tears streaming down her face. He wraps his arms around her, placing a kiss in her hair as she snuggles into his chest, singing softly to her.

"Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you "

Eventually her breathing evens out again as she settles into a deep sleep.

Puck walks into the dark classroom, shutting the door behind him. Down the other end, in front of the white board he sees Quinn, curled into a ball with her head on her knees. He drops to his knees and leans up against the wall next to her, rubbing her back gently. Then (much to Puck's surprise), Quinn lies her head in his lap, still whimpering quietly. Puck smiles softly as he runs his hands through her short, hot pink hair. He hears her breathing begin to even out as she gets sleepy, exhausted from what happened. Suddenly, he hears something.

"Puck? Will you sing to me? Like that night?" Quinn whispers.

Puck smiles to himself. She remembers that! He can't believe it.

"Of course." Puck responds, his hands still running through her hair.

He starts to sing softly to her

"Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you"
