Sometimes I'm left wondering…If I could've prevented what happened between us…

Water ran beneath my feet as I looked up at the cloudy grey sky with small beams of light peaking through. A chilly breeze blew towards a light a far distance from where I stood, as if beckoning me to come.

Moving one foot in front of the other, I slowly made my way to the warm and inviting light as the gentle breeze slightly rustled my tangled blonde hair. As I got close I started to notice a group of people, about seven males and one female, standing in front of a gorgeous woman with long blonde hair and sky blue eyes.

Her pale golden skin glowed along with her entire body. She wore gold jewelry, a very pale bluish green dress with golden designs around the torso and a long piece of sparkling gold fabric around her arms that matched the gold veil that hung from the back of her crown, cascading down her back with her long blonde hair. Noticing me, she stood from her low white chair that had a shell of some sort, perhaps wings, on each side of the chair and gave me a gentle smile. She radiated some sort of elegance, warmth, light…harmony.

Noticing the change in the woman, the others turned their bodies to look at me as I approached the group of people. I stopped once I was a meter or two near the closest person, a small boy with beads in his blond hair and an extravagant and puffy red armor/knight outfit of some sort.

The beautiful woman took a step towards me, stepping off the small platform below her chair and onto the large water plain that ran beneath everyone's feet. The others hesitantly moved to the side, allowing the woman to walk towards me, while glancing at the woman before switching their gaze to me.

"Everything will be all right," she smiled at me as a warm feeling blossomed in my chest, my eyes widening as tears graced the brim, realizing that was what I wanted to be told. "I see the light you posses and with it, you can set things right,"

"How…?" I asked as she laid her pale hand on top of my head, her pale pink lips still set in a warm, friendly smile. "How can I…make it all better again?"

"By joining my Warriors of Light in the battle against Chaos. You are one of the Keyblade's chosen wielders and you posses a bright light that can make things right again," she explained as tears silently fell down my cheek. "Will you join me?"

"…I can restore my world…if I help you…right…?" I asked, causing her to nod. "Then I'm in," I answered as her smile brightened but still held it's gentle motherly touch.

"I am Cosmos, Goddess of Harmony," she said while pulling back her hand to rest by her side. "And you are?"

"…Esperance…"

"What a fitting name, for the girl who will help rid the world of excess darkness and restore the worlds consumed by it,"

So there you have it, a little Teaser. Message or review the story if you want me to continue. I won't update until I have at least one person asking for another chapter.

Esperance = Hope
