Authors Notes: I got the idea for this story from the kiss that Brock and
Kurt shared after SmackDown a couple weeks ago. I might follow along with
the storyline that the WWE has for Kurt and Brock, or I might not. This
story may take its own course.
Introduction
Brock Lesnar didn't really have any friends in the WWE, mainly because everyone was terrified of him. He also was never really involved in a serious relationship with someone. Most, if not all, women would shy away from Brock, afraid that he would hurt them.
Even though Brock wouldn't show it, this hurt him deeply. He needed someone to be with. to care for. to love. He was about to lose all hope, that is, until Kurt Angle came along.
They weren't ever really friends, but Brock still admired the Olympic Gold Medalist. It wasn't until Wrestlemania 19 that the pair became friends. After hearing that Kurt needed to have major neck surgery, Brock made sure that he called Kurt or visited him every day. That's when the friendship really started to form.
On the night of Kurt Angle's return, Kurt requested Brock's presence in the ring. Brock didn't think anything of it, so of course, he made his way to the ring and joined Kurt. That's when things really changed for Brock. Kurt called Brock a "true friend" and then hugged him. A hug is a very simple gesture, but for Brock, it meant so much more. This hug felt different. for him at least.
