Another original Jay-Jay story written by Samantha613, this time it's "Jay-Jay Can't Sleep" Enjoy and comment.
"It was a wonderful night at Tarrytown Airport, where Jay-jay and his friends live. They had had a busy day, and were now going to sleep in the hanger." Everyone was telling each other goodnight and settling in for the night.
Jay-Jay had just finished telling the others a story. Herky was already sleeping, and so was
Tracy and Snuffy.
Jay-Jay was about to fall asleep too when he heard a strange noise.
"What is that noise?", Jay-jay thought.
Jay-jay wondered where it was coming from, until he saw it was only Herky snoring.
"I can't sleep at all, I guess I'll have to stay up all night listening to Herky's snoring.", Jay-jay considered.
So he stayed up all night listening to his friend's snoring.
Next morning, soon after Herky woke up and left to do his job, Jay-jay was feeling so tired.
"I'm really tired, I didn't sleep at all.", Jay-Jay said to himself.
He stayed up all night because Herky was making a lot of noise with his snoring, and Jay-jay wondered how he could tell him without hurting his feelings.
"I have to find a way to tell Herky about his snoring, but I don't want to hurt his feelings either. What should I think of?", he questioned himself.
He then came up with a bright idea.
"I'll ask one of my friends for advice on what should I do about my problem.", Jay-jay said.
So he tried to find his friends for advice.
He found Old Oscar and asked him what he could do to his problem.
"You could talk to Herky and tell him how he feels" said Old Oscar.
Just then, Brenda Blue came over.
"I need you to take some donuts to the donut shop." said Brenda Blue.
"Bye Jay-Jay!" said Old Oscar as he flew away. "Remember what I said!"
Jay-Jay then saw Snuffy and asked him what he could do about his problem.
"You need to tell him how you feel." said Snuffy.
Now Jay-Jay knew exactly what to do.
"I know what I have to do, I have to tell Herky how I feel about his snoring and why I didn't say anything about earlier. I have to say how I feel about and come up with a solution to my problem.", said Jay-Jay.
So he told Herky how he felt about his snoring, and Herky asked him why didn't he tell him last night. Jay-jay explained that he didn't want to hurt his feelings because he is his friend. Herky explained that he appreciates that, and he promised that he won't snore at all. And that night, Herky kept his promise and didn't make a single peep, which made Jay-jay feel really happy actually.
He has learned that it's always a good thing to talk to someone if someone or something is bothering you and that you should tell them.
