*Fades in to a ship on endless seas, wind and waves could be heard. On the ship are several men, including Odysseus. One of the men, Crawford, points off into the distance.*
Crawford: Land! I see land master!
*Most of the men peer from the sides of the ship, except Odysseus, who is staring off into the distance across the boat.*
Rai: But it is not Ithica…
Crawford: Who cares? Land is land!
Ice: We could rest there for the night! *Looks at Odysseus* Could we, master?
Odysseus: … We will land. But I don't want you men doing anything foolish.
*The men beach the ship. They set up camp, only to be met by a group of peaceful people that call themselves the Lotus Eaters.*
Joel: Welcome to our island! Please, you look famished. Eat some of our delicacy, the Lotus.
Billy: Yes yes, eat! We mean no harm!
*Some of the men foolishly eat the Lotus flower. They start feeling cheerful and happy, laughing and fooling around.*
Crawford: Yay! I want to stay here forever!
Rai: Me too!
Garret: Huh?! What are you saying?! We need to reach Ithica!
Elita: No no! Stay…Ithica is far away…Wouldn't you want to stay here, safe and full?
Garret: No…
Clyde: I rather go home…
Odysseus: *Picks up Rai and Crawford and runs toward the ship.* Come on! Gather your belongings! This island is accursed!
*Crawford and Rai start crying, stating that they want to stay. The rest of the men pack their things and board the ship.*
Joel, Elita, and Billy: Bye bye! Have a safe trip!
Crawford: No!!!! I want to stay!!!!!!
Rai: Me too!!!!!!!
*The men leave the island with most of their things, hoping that they would reach Ithica soon. Fades out. *
