Simpleness, Blindness and Bittersweetness.
Life is never as it seems. It rarely show it's hand and yet it's affect can be seen all around us and our world. It's because just went it seem you have it figured out, when it seem you know it all. The rug is pull from beneath your feet and you discover another twist. Another plot. Another schemes. Another evil. Another reasons to fight and another to not. Another merciless choice to make.
Life is full of betrayals and double crosses. Is full of lies and blindness. Full of masks. Of disappointment and hurt and pain. Of reasons to life and fight and reasons not to. But that is why we fight. Right? To right the wrong? And yet we must lie to do so, creating another set of wrongs altogether.
People see only what they want to see, what they expect to see. If people expect to see a young, bashful good hearted boy or a bitter old one whose lived to long and see too much, or a strong self made independent woman who followed her dreams then that is what their eyes will see. Our eyes never seeing beyond the mask humanity wears. The darkness in the ones we least expected. And the light on the darkest nights.
Some of us are gifted - rarely - with the sight to see past what our minds tell and to see what is really there.
The 'Wayne' family however are more than practiced at fooling even the most open minded being. Be it the charming Bruce Wayne; the daring Richard 'Dick' Grayson, energetic Timothy 'Tim' Drake, the strong minded Barbara 'Barb' Gordon or the mischievously innocent Terrance 'Terry' McGinnis. With them 'looks' have long since past deceiving and moved straight on through 'could kill'. A particular talent processed by in variety degrees by the world renowned famous or rather infamous Bat-Family. No that the above how anything to do with the likes of them.
It is easy to cheat the mind in to believing something fabricated or altered especially if the world choose not to see it.
The art of deception is a useful skill. But one that comes at a price. To be deceitful you must know your self, your must know how to lie, know how manipulate other. But more often that not, humanity lake of observance, of our lack of ability to see want is clear to see in front of us, is to blame for our short comings. Of our 'Blindness'.

His world, his view of others the changed inalterability when he discovered his forgetful, work-obsessed, ex-convict brother, was merely a mask for a more darker soul. A sarcastic, merciless, fearless protector. A dark prince. His brother was Batman, the Tomorrow Knight.
Life, he decided, was rarely simple. It was bittersweet. You always hurt the loves you love. Especially when you try to protected them. And that our love ones hurt us the most in the end.
We are blind but…sometime blindness is better than seeing the world the way it is.

Let it be known I write this randomly at 2.oo in the morning and is about several things hinted in the titel. Simpleness (Which is real a word) is about how life is never simple, something is always happening and normally it's bad. Blindness, we can't see what we should and always what we shouldn't (Matt having his life and view of it changed after discovering who Batman really is) and lastly Bittersweetness(Which I did make up) how life isn't fair and how Matt learn the loves we love always hurt us the most.
