Sonnet of Sir Shrek
Sonnet of Sir Shrek
I thought that I knew just what to suppose
From a child to be born unto me
I would clean his butt and I'd wipe his nose
A grand father I would be.
But more than one child there came
More than two or even three
The little ogres were all the same.
A confused father I would be.
They all cried, they all pooped and ate
They all crawled around naked and free
Their annoying habits I began to hate
A grumpy father I would be.
But when the time came to go to bed,
And they slept together peacefully,
I just smiled and shook my head.
A loving father I would be.
So as the many future years passed by,
Watching them laugh and watching them cry,
I knew that I would rue the day
In which I had to say goodbye.
