Vine. Lower…lower…lo- DOES THAT FREAKIN' LOOK LIKE LOW TO YOU? (The sign almost immediately drops a couple feet.) Wait! Bring it up an inch. Annnnnnnnnnnd, STOP! A'ight nail right ther' and don't half it either.
(The CREW glares and does as she says reluctantly. VINE backs up a bit to admire her sign and looms off to LaLaLand. Behind her, SEYCHELLES and TAIWAN stare quizzically at the rainbows and birds that seem to appear around her.)
Seychelles. Uh, Vine?
Vine. (snaps out of her reverie) Hmm?
Seychelles. Cassy, Erika, and Kat are finished with costumes, and Phoebe and Belle are ready with make-up.
Vine. Ok, whatta 'bout cast?
Taiwan. Liz and Nat are still gathering the stragglers.
Vine. Ok, um, tell 'em to take 'em over to make-up and costume when they finish. How's Viet with effects?
(The two FEMALE NATIONS give a slightly wary glance.)
Taiwan. She's…getting along.
Vine. Mmhmm, so how are Zim and Ken then?
Seychelles. They have audio ready. How come we're only using two numbers and a couple backgrounds though?
Vine. I'm plannin' somethin' for later. Anything else?
(As VINE motions for Taiwan to hand over the drink and doggie bag from Micky D's, SEYCHELLES stares at something behind the authoress.)
Seychelles. I think Inuyasha and Daemon broke your sign.
Vine. (Drops a fry) "What? Whaddaya- NO YOU STUPID IDOTS! DON'T PUT THAT THERE!"
BANG!
CLASH!
POW!
RICE CRISPIES!
(Three males- DARRIAN, KOGA, and FYE- walk next to the two gaping girls, and watch the other two males as they get pulverized by an angered authoress.)
Darrian. That's going to leave a mark…
Taiwan. And that…
(All the MALES simultaneously flinch as DAEMON lets out a "manly" scream.)
Koga. Damn.
