It was the end of a normal day – a few hunters come in, got a drink, and then left minutes later. My mom and I went over to the storage room to drop some things off when we heard someone come into the road house.

"Go in the front" My mother told me "See who's there, I'll go in the back way."

I left the storage room and went to the front I noticed some guy standing by the doorway facing his back to me. I couldn't see much but I looked around and saw a rifle, I grabbed it, and put it to the mans' back.

"Oh god please let that be a rifle." He said.

"Nah, I'm just real happy to see you." I replied back sarcastically. "Don't move." I told him.

"Not moving, copy that." He paused for a second. "You know, you should know something miss, when you put a rifle to someone, you don't want to put it right against their back. It makes it real easy to do." He swung around and ripped the rifle out of my hand. "That." He finished his sentence with.

I was shock by what just happened, but I still managed to punch this guy in his nose and take the rifle back.

"Sam!" He called out, while holding his nose. "Need some help in here!"

My mom walked in holding a gun to some guys' head, which I'm guessing was Sam.

"Sorry dean. Can't right now I'm a little tied up." Sam said.

"Sam, Dean? Winchester?" My mother said.

"Yeah." The two boys replied.

"Mom you know these guys?" I questioned her.

"Yeah. I think these are John Winchesters' boys." She started laughing. "Hey I'm Ellen, and that's my daughter Jo."

"Hey." I said

"Your not going to hit me again, are you?" Dean said to me.

My mom handed Dean an icepack and the Winchesters and my mom started talking, as I just sat, and listened.

"Your dad wouldn't have sent you if." There was a long pause. "He didn't send you. He's alright isn't he?"

The look on Dean and Sams' face told me something was up, and it wasn't good.

"No. It was the demon we think. It just got him, before he got it." Sam said.

I only knew Sam and Dean for 10 minutes but by what they told me it killed me inside just thinking about that happening to them.

"I'm so sorry." Ellen said, looking devastated.

"It's ok, we're all right." Dean replied.

"Really I know how close you and your dad-"

"Really lady I'm fine." Dean said after he cut my mother off.

"So how did you and your mom get into this stuff anyway?" Dean said as he sat down next to me.

"My dad, he was a hunter…. He passed away." I said.

"I'm so sorry."

"It was a long time ago. I was just a kid... Sorry to hear about you dad."

"Yeah. So uhh I got 51 hours to waste. Maybe tonight we could uhh…. You know what never mind."

"What?" I questioned him.

"Nothing, just wrong place, wrong time."

"You know I thought you were gonna throw me some cheesy pick-up line." I said, as he laughed at the thought of that. "Most hunters come threw that door thinking they can get in my pants with some pizza, and a six pack."

"Well they're a bunch of scumbags."

"But, not you." I said

"I guess not." He replied.

I don't really know this dean guy I thought to myself as he said that, but something about him just seems, different.

"Dean come here, check this out." Sam called out to him.

Well, it's such a shame Sam found a case. I was thinking. I thought me and dean could get to know each other a little better.

After Sam and Dean talked about the case they left so quickly they didn't say goodbye. I hoped that they would come back, it was nice having them around. It would also be nice to see dean again.
