Everything was calm and quiet in The Lucky Cat Café, the two residents, Hiro Hamada and his Aunt Cass were sound asleep in their beds. However, something was active in the night.

Baymax stood on his charging station diligently, silently waiting for the sun to rise and for his patient to awaken. Suddenly, Baymax activated his scanners and scanned Hiro's room, stopping to look toward Hiro's messy desk.

"Hello, Tadashi." Baymax said, looking toward Hiro's desk. To anyone else it would look like no one was there but Baymax's sensor could clearly detect and see the tall figure of the older Hamada brother.

Tadashi stood over the desk, looking around at Hiro's work and designs with a proud smile before he turned around to face Baymax with a wave.

"Hey, Baymax." Tadashi spoke quietly, even though Hiro wouldn't hear him even if he yelled at the top of his voice. "Keep it down would ya? I don't want Hiro to wake up, he needs is sleep."

Tadashi walked over to Hiro's bedside and gave a sad small at his younger brother's sleeping form. "Man, he looks so exhausted. Baymax, make sure he doesn't pull anymore late nights at the lab, okay?"

Baymax nodded obediently. "Yes, Tadashi. Sleep deprivation is very bad for his health."

"Yes it is…" Tadashi mumbled in agreement, looking down at his brother with a frown. "I'm sorry, kid. I wish I was still here to encourage you and help you or at least tell you how proud I am but…"

Tadashi trailed off with a sad look before turning back to Baymax.

"Baymax, I won't be coming back here anymore. You'll keep looking after Hiro for me while I'm gone, won't you?"

"I will, Tadashi." Baymax answered back, reassuring his creator.

Tadashi smiled. "Thank you." He looked back down at his sleeping brother, who mumbled and turned in his sleep. Tadashi slowly reached down and gently ruffled his brother's messy hair. "Stay safe Hiro, I'll be watching you so you better use that genius brain of yours and keep making me proud."

With that, Tadashi slowly faded away with a sad smile on his face.

"Tadashi is no longer here."
