I DO NOT OWN INUYASHA OR ANY OF THE CHARACTERS

Rin was skipping around the field of flowers that Lord Sesshomaru decided to make camp in for the night. She smiled at the stoic Lord, who only glanced at her. She remembered the first time she smiled at him. He asked her why she was smiling, She was an injured mute at the time, but she had been thinking the reason she had smiled was because he had cared enough to ask why she was injured. No one had ever cared about her at all. She had been left to fend for herself and catch her own food and even make her own clothes. She had been miserable, then she had found him injured in the forest, That was the day her life had changed completely. She gave him food and water, kind of like a stray dog she had found outside the village one year. The villagers killed it because they said it was just another unwanted mouth to feed. She had been devastated. She knew that they meant her also. She sat down on the grass. She was sad that the wolves had killed the villagers, but they had been mean to her. They didn't deserve such a cruel fate, no matter how mean they had been.

Rin glanced over and saw Jaken asleep and Ah Un grazing. She was surrounded by people but she felt alone. Jaken Always yelled at her, Ah Un couldn't speak, and Lord Sesshomaru ignored her. Unless he told her that she had to fend for herself. It was no different than how the villagers treated her. Unlike them, Lord Sesshomaru had saved her, when he could've let her die. She owed him her life and if he wanted to ignore her than it was okay. She would always follow him, even if it got her killed again. He was close to family, but if she said that out loud he would look at her with disgust and most likely tell her to leave. He was a demon Lord who hated humans. He only put up with her. She smiles on the outside like she doesn't care how she is treated by her savior, but on the inside she wished he would treat her like she wasn't filth. Demons had feelings, Humans had feelings. They had hopes, Dreams, Wishes, Wants, and they felt the same happiness, Sorrow, Anger, Hatred. They killed just like humans and they stole also. They talk about humans being greedy, but demons steal from them. The only difference is demons are beautiful creatures. At least some of them are, they are immortal, and have no limits on what they can do. She looked up from the flowers she was looking at up to the crescent moon and instead of frowning, she smiled. Shoving her thoughts didn't care if Lord Sesshomaru only saw her as a pathetic human. She would follow him as long as she can. He was her savior after all.
