Reeve loved dabbling in electronics and robotics. This was evident by the cait sith robot he had made to spy on Cloud and friends. A lot of times, he would just tinker on some new invention instead of doing his work; not that he was a lazy man, he would just get caught up in what he was doing. Helping to rebuild the planet after the events of Sephiroth as well as what shinra had done was a mighty task, so these robots he built were a way of relieving a little bit of stress.
While tinkering with his current creation, a thought transpired. He looked down at the lifeless bot on his desk and decided he'd tinker with its personality; make this one a bit different then the others. But what kind of personality would it have? He thought deep on the topic and his mind wandered to the different people he had met in his life. He decided it would definitely not have Rufus Shinra's personality; that stuck up man was enough to ruin any sort of mood in Reeve's mind. Who else had he worked with? There was Hojo. That man was crazy though. There were the Turks. He had been fond of the black haired one Tseng. But Tseng was completely serious and didn't really have a chill bone in his body. There was that bald headed Turk Rude. He was too quiet and didn't seem the type for his new creation. Elena would be a possibility if she weren't a female; it was a male cat bot. Lastly there was the red head Reno. He did have quite the personality and had enough spunk and energy. He decided he'd concider the red head.
After running through all his options he decided on a mix of Reno's and Tseng's personalities for this new bot. Quite a combination he figured. Hooking up the bot to his PC, he fiddled with it's memories and personality. It was all coming along great. A few hours into the project, he had successfully created a fusion of the two men inside this cat robot. He smiled to himself, a job well done. He stretched and looked out the big window in his office. It was getting dark. He frowned, wanting to work on his project some more, but decided it was time for him to go (the streets were hell during the night.) He unplugged the bot and give it a light peck on the head. He'd come back in the morning for it. He switched off the light and left the room blissfully unaware that the bot had a life of it's own. It's eyes sparked to life.
The next morning brought shear and utter anger to the normally calm Reeve. His office was completely wrecked, as if a twister had passed through the WRO leaders office. On the wall were some very obscene words. He scratched his head wondering how this could happen. He had locked the door, no one could get in. The window wasn't broken either. His eyes drifted to the bot he had built. It was out of place. Had the…had the bot done this? He walked to the bot and picked it up. It's eyes still had life in them.
How his creation had even sparked to life was a mystery Reeve didn't know. Maybe if he looked through the bots coding…
He hooked the bot up to his PC and explored it's coding. Nothing too out of the ordinary except it revealed that the bot was alive now. He scratched his head. What would cause the bot to do this? Looking through the coding, he arrived at its personality file. He examined it then realized the fetal error that could cause this bot to act in such a childish, immature way; It had Reno's personality. For some reason, Tseng's didn't get saved. He sighed and looked down at the bot. It gave Reeve a cocky smile.
"Dammit Reno." Reeve muttered to himself, knowing full well how long this mess will take to clean up. His face turning to the obscene sentence on the wall, he sighed knowing he'd have to shovel out gil to buy more paint.
