A white haired man stared down at a small child wrapped in a blanket. His eyes wide with envy, his woman next to him, rested her head after just giving birth. Vergil took his son from Lady and picked at a few white hairs on the child's small head. The child giggled and gripped his father's finger. Vergil could feel the weight of responsibility fall on him the longer he held the child. He was a devil hunter, he had doubts that the child could grow up normally. Uncle Dante kicked open the door and ran to see his nephew and congratulate his brother. Dante hung his arm over Vergil's shoulder and looked down at the little tyke in his brothers arms. Vergil handed his son to Dante and the son of Sparda held his nephew up to the light and the small child laughed at the smirk Dante had on his face. Dante had a bright smile on his face, now Sparda could be called Grandpa Sparda. Dante was slapped upside the head by Trish for acting so childishly with his nephew. She took the boy from Dante and stared down at him. The child began to cry as Trish stared down at him. Dante took the child back from Trish and stuck his tongue out, teasing her.

"That's why you should never have children, Trish," Dante said. Trish hit Dante behind the head, causing the devil hunter to stumble. Lady had just come to in time to see Dante trip and gasped with fright at the thought of Dante dropping her son. Vergil grabbed his son and punched Dante in the head.

"Idiot!" Vergil said through gritted teeth. Vergil handed Lady their son and she stared down at him with beautiful eyes. The child had no expression for Lady, he just stared back up at her. Lady smiled and the child mimiced her actions. A nurse came in with a chart and approached Vergil.

"Um, excuse me, Mr. Vergil, we need to know your child's name," She said. Holding up a pen. Vergil silently thought about it for a few minutes before looking to Lady and simply answering.

"Nero."
