And all she found was trouble in my eyes

Samantha Flack was not excited about seeing her brother. Don would just give her hell if he could see her now. She took a quick hit off her flask and shook the shivers out of her shoulders. Summers, the girl who was watching her shook her head but seemed to get the need for it at least.

Besides the Jack didn't do shit to her new hyper-metabolism any more. It burned through her faster, as Summers explained once. Unless its got some serious hex on it. The word cave!Buffy was actually used.

But working at the bar, and slaying on the side was a lot of stress. She needed something to blame it on when she got fight-happy. The Jack was just a convenient answer to all the questions. Even if it made Don look at her like that. Sometimes, especially for those looks Don gave her.
