"Shut your mouth, James!" Rosie sighs, putting a strand of her curly hair behind her ear "Albus, what James is trying to say, in less 'git words', is… Look, if our parents said so, It should be better for us to stay away from him"

"And you always do what your parents tell you, don't you Rose?" James said, his smirk intact.

Al looked down at his parchment, still blank. Rose didn't answer back.

Even when you don't want to follow the steps it lays before you

"I'd… Rather not associate with you, Mr. Potter" the blond boy said, still cleaning bits of mud from off his face with his robe sleeves. His face was still neutral. Kind of apologetic.

"From what my Father told me it'd be rather… Troublesome. I already got too much from just having my family name"

"We can forget about them! I-I also don't like the fame my Father's name brings me. I'd rather be my own person! We don't need to fill our families' expectations!"

The corners of the boy's mouth lifted slightly.

"That's the thing, Mr. Potter. I don't want to forget about my family, I want to restore its honor" Malfoy gets up, shaking more of the mud from his legs "My family has changed. And I think that a good first step to showing people just that is not giving the Potter-Weasley family any trouble during our school years. You see, Mr Potter. I'm… Very proud of who we are. My family that is."

Albus doesn't know what to make of that quasi-smile.

You find yourself trying to retrace them anyway.

"I told you to stay. Away. From. My. Cousin."

"There is nothing I can do about the matter, It's not like I was the one to put him in Slythe-"

James fist collided with Scorpius jaw.

It's simply really hard

"Mr. Potter, Mrs. Weasley, Mr. Malfoy, detention!"

"But-"

"No buts, Mr. Malfoy!" said the scarred old woman "I shall not tolerate this type of behavior in my classroom!".
