Ron weasley was sneaking out for a late night snack but stopped and watched her as he stood under Harry's invisibility cloak, along one of the school hallways. She handed the note to yet another teacher that was patrolling the school at night and again she was left to go on her own. Following her was easy, keeping up with her was hard until she stopped at Professor Lupin's defence against the dark arts classroom. She opened the door silently and wide enough for Ron to pass her and stand in a corner. The girl looked around her, thinking she saw something but in the end closed the door behind her. Walking past the desks, she went up the steps and knocked on the Professor's door. A minute later Professor Lupin stepped out of his office, in a little bit of a rumpled mess
"Ah! Miss Evagreen, was there any trouble coming over?" asked the Professor.
"No, not really and thank you for letting me do this. Its appreciated" said the Evagreen girl.
Ron watched as both student and professor walked over to the wardrobe where Ron had faced the Spider-Boggart that afternoon.
"Ok Miss Evagreen, just stand back a bit, yes like that, have your wand ready, good and do you remember the word?"asked Professor Lupin standing next to the wardrobe.
"Yes professor, its Riddikolus"said the girl.
"Good! Good, now ready? I'm going to open the door" turning the knob slowly, Lupin opened the door, then was flung aside by what came flying out.
It was a spinning ball of colours, the girl kept her eyes on it, determination in every part of her eyes and as it moved around the room it almost showed Ron's hiding spot. Getting out of the balls way Ron looked up to see where it went but instead saw his best friend, Harry, lying dead on the ground in front of the girl with her shaky wand pointing at Harry. Her eyes showed surprised fear and her hand showed white knuckles as she gripped harder on the wand.
Ron was nothing but stunned at what the scene showed him until the girl said in a small hard voice. "Riddikolus"
The Harry that was dead exploded into spirals of confetti then was sucked back into the wardrobe with Lupin closing the door behind it.
"Now that was very interesting"Professor said in a matter of fact voice, looking at the doors mirror than at the girl.
She on the other hand felt the need to drop to her knees. Her breathing was ragged, her hands shook and she looked like she was about to cry.
"No no its ok"Lupin knelt beside the girl patting her back "Its alright to be afraid for the life of the person that you care for, especially Harry potters. His life is always on the line, one way or another"
"No, you don't understand. I'm not afraid of his death" she took in a shaky breath "I'm afraid of taking his life"
