A/N: It happened again... I had another weird dream last night. And once again, I have absolutely no explanation for any of it. I wonder if this is going to keep happening until I'm done with Finals...

A small, ragtag group of players in the VRMMORPG, Sword Art Online, was preparing to fight the next floor boss so they could take one more step towards beating the game and gaining their freedom. The team was made up of Roy Mustang, Riza Hawkeye, Maes Hughes, Kirito, and Asuna.

They stepped into the boss room together, and the boss appeared, a female with long black hair, armed with a sword. Checking the boss's name and health, Kirito announced, "The boss's name is Lust, and she has a lot of health." The other four glanced at the boss's health and several gulps could be heard.

The fight didn't go too badly at first, with Riza distracting the boss by throwing daggers and throwing knives at her when it looked like the other four needed time to regroup, Kirito and Asuna taking turns attacking, and Roy and Maes attacking whenever the other two lost the upper hand. However, shortly after her health decreased below half of her original health, Lust's attack pattern changed, and none of them were prepared for it. Soon, they were all on the defensive, their health lowering steadily with each of her attacks. When it looked like Maes was about to run out of health, however, the battle ended and Lust flew into the air.

"You could not defeat me, but you'll escape with your lives today. However..." Lust then tossed an item to the ground in front of Kirito. The item glowed and then disappeared. "That will cause anything you attempt to make to explode, as well as getting rid of any and all crafting materials you may have whenever you attempt to craft," she explained, before disappearing.

"What just happened?" Roy asked, confused as to why the boss hadn't killed them.

"Kirito, are you okay?" Asuna asked, looking at the spot where the item had been before turning her gaze to Kirito.

"I don't feel any different," replied Kirito with a shrug. "I guess we'll find out for sure the next time I try to craft something."

Later, Kirito stood in front of a worktable, his expression one of defeat. It turned out Lust had been accurate in her claim that anything he tried to craft would explode. Kirito sighed and went to gather more crafting materials, hoping the effect would wear off if he kept trying.

The next attempt had the same result, as did the one after that. Kirito was about to resign himself to the fact there was no way to get rid of the effect when his final attempt did not explode. It didn't turn out the way it was supposed to, either, though, and instead of the dagger he was trying to make, he ended up with a book.

"Well, that's odd..." he muttered, as Asuna entered the room.

"A book?" she asked, confused.

Kirito shrugged and opened the book, which appeared to be completely blank. Idly flipping through the pages, Kirito stopped suddenly when he saw writing on one of the pages. Turning back to the page in question, he announced, "We have to go to Walmart to find a clue."

"What if it's a trap?" Asuna asked, looking at the book uncertainly.

"You're right," Kirito agreed. "Let's go to the bank for information."
