Prompt #1 A Healthy Start

Sakura whipped up the salad, humming as she did so, while Kakashi rested on the couch with Icha Icha covering his face.

Sakura cut up the tomatoes and added a bit of special salad sauce she whipped up yesterday,

"Kakashi, the salad should be almost ready." She said.

Kakashi just nodded, still focused in his book.

Sakura set out plates and prepared the salad, she walked over to the couch with the greens and silverware in her hands, she nudged for Kakashi to scoot over and make room, with his eye still focused on his book he sat up right. She set the snack on the coffee table before him, and she started eating hers.

Kakashi closed the book ad directed his gaze towards the healthy meal.

"What's with the salad?"

Taking another bite Sakura answered, "I thought we could go on a bit of a diet, we haven't been eating well lately, more specifically you."

Kakashi sighed, "Is this about the mission from last month?"

"Kakashi you were badly injured, and to help you heal, I'm putting you on a diet."

"You aren't putting me on anything, Sakura."

"Eat your salad." She ordered.

"Sakura I'm already healed, I've did my exercises and I'm even done with my checkups, why can't we just order takeout?"

"You've been eating takeout for the last year! This isn't healthy for you, now please just eat your salad. I'm even going to eat healthy with you, so you won't have to do it alone."

Kakashi just sighed knowing he was defeated and nodded, he didn't mind salads; occasionally he would eat one, he did like it with tomatoes and eggplant. He smiled at the dish, thankfully Sakura remembered his favorite.

Sakura smiled when she saw him bring his mask down and take a bite,

"How is it?"

Kakashi shrugged. She'll take that as, 'it's good'.

The two ate in silence. Uncomfortable silence.

Sakura noted that the dish had a weird aftertaste, she thought of all the ingredients she put, reviewing her steps. Looking on the counter she immediately stopped chewing.

Dear Kami.

She put soy sauce, instead of the special salad sauce. She mentally slapped herself repeatedly, how could she be so stupid? It was her fault for putting all the condiments into little glass containers. She thought it would look cute for all the sauces to be put in the jars, all lined up on a little shelf, apparently; she didn't read the label. She must have zoned out, she did go on auto-pilot when she cooked.

Sakura put the plate down and faced Kakashi,

"Wanna order ramen?" Sakura asked.

"Yes."

What I'm not procrastinating from my other stories, what are you talking about?
