Jace watched Project Runway with wide eyes. This was his absolute favorite show, and he had spent days bingeing in Magnus's room. The drama, the challenges, and the amazing characters made it hard to look away. Oh, and also the fashion. He had always dreamed of seeing the runway show in person, and meeting all of the judges. He sighed, thinking about his long lost dream. "JACE GET DOWN HERE RIGHT AWAY", he flinched at the loud noise, looking over to the door. He sighed again, this time out of frustration. It was his girlfriend, Clary. Although, they were having a rough time, Clary was going through a bad phase after the big war. She took out her aggression on him, and all their other friends. "OOOOOHHHHHH JACE, IT'S TIME TO GO" he hopped out of his bed, and padded downstairs. He would have to see who won the unconventional materials challenge later. He was hoping it would be brandon.
Upon arriving downstairs, he saw Clary dressed in full shadowhunter gear. "There have been reports of demons downtown, we should get going, Alec and Izzy will meet us there", She informed him, looking as if she had never even yelled. Jace smiled, more to himself than to Clary. The only thing he loved more than watching project runway was fighting demons. If only there was a way for them to come together…
They ran out into the city, down a few streets and stopped at a giant tower. Jace gasped in realization, this was the Project Runway building. Jace looked inside a window and saw demons terrorizing the people. With that, Jace and co. leaped in action. They shattered the glass of the windows making their epic grand entrance, and fought off all the demons.
Jace looked around and realized that they had just interrupted the filming of an episode of Project Runway. He saw all the designers sitting there stunned, Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn on the runway, probably explaining the next challenge. Heidi broke the silence. "You saved us. How could we ever repay you".
Tim gasped, "Oh I know, let's make this next challenge about them!"
"Oh, what a perfect idea. Lets assign every designer to a… umm… what are you guys called?"
"Shadowhunters" Jace replied. He was still in shock.
"Perfect, it will be called 'Project Shadowhunter'!". They proceeded to have all the shadowhunters line up on stage, and the designers got to choose based on their place last challenge.
Heidi continued "You have to make a battle chic look that these people can fight with, and also go on a coffee date after. It has to be versatile, comfortable, and look like a million bucks. You will have 300 dollars to spend at mood, and this will be a 2 day challenge.
