Don't blink.
I'm not talking about Angels, though it's good to keep your eye on them.
But when He sweeps you off your feet, you can't close your eyes for one second:
Not with all the wondrous places he takes you in his flying Blue Box.
In an instant, what was once a mighty empire,
Could suddenly fall to ruin.
Just like that:
One blink is all it takes.
You can never fully take it all in:
Every heart-stopping sight,
Every beautiful moment in time.
But you can try, if you just don't blink.
The universe is just too wonderful to miss.
And this man, this lonely traveler, this Doctor,
He's just as precious, if not more so.
One moment he can look one way,
But if you don't watch him,
He could change.
You wouldn't even recognize him.
So keep your eyes open, don't even blink.
Not even for one second.
Don't. Blink.
