Hi, readers!
I know I need to update If Emotions are For the weak *guilt*, but this idea just randomly came to me. I'm planning to add more stories to it, believe it or not it helps take a lot of stress off. 0-0 It's probably been done before, but... Enjoy! :D

"Um... Ryuzaki, are you... sure, about this?"
The Task Force stared at the detective before them, each looking just as discombobulated as the next. Surely he e was kidding; it was completely illegal in Japan to carry out such things, let alone completely irrelevant and downright uncalled for. However, L's face was emotionless yet firm, the same as usual- it was obvious he meant business. His dark, absorbing eyes remained serious as they scanned each of the officers one by one before replying.
"...Yes. We will keep both households under strict, twenty-four hour surveillance, for an overall total of seven days. In addition to this, since Light Yagami is our prime suspect in the case so far, we will place extra cameras in his bedroom, which I imagine is understandable. Is that agreeable?"
The Task force exchanged thoughtful, slightly anxious glances- Soichiro's eyes had widened in shock, little by little, during L's... speech, but managed to keep his emotions under control with no more than a small, defeated sigh.
"Of course, Ryuzaki, if that is your wish..."
The raven's eyes now rested meticulously as ever on Soichiro.
"Excellent. We will now carry out our plan tomorrow morning, ten o' clock precisely- all of the Yagami family will consequently be out, and we can focus on the Kitamuras that afternoon..."
L gasped and stared bug-eyed at the screen, an unusual look of surprise in his normally calm eyes. Noticing this, Soichiro immediately rushed to L's side. He glanced at the screen and gasped also, followed by Matsuda, who, in contrast to everyone else, burst out laughing; to put it lightly, the sight on the screen was... One to remember, whether you wanted to or not. Soichiro was rendered speechless due to his son's behaviour. L merely watched, a terrified, slightly awkward expression rapidly spreading across his face. Matsuda, on the other hand, continued on with his laughing fit.
After a few minutes of absolute madness, L found the ability to form a half legible sentence.
"Y-Yagami-san... What... Is L-Light-kun doing...?"
Clearly rattled by the situation, L slowly attempted to stand up; or, would have, had Aizawa not stomped past him to see what all of the commotion was about. After seeing the screen they were all watching as if a horror movie, Aizawa simply turned round to face apparently the 'world's greatest detective'.
"Well, you wanted twenty-four hour surveillance, Ryuzaki..."
