This was a horrible idea.

This was a stupid, horrible, awful, what-the-hell was he thinking idea.

Kiku regretted this thoroughly, but there was no turning back now.

He glared at his reflection in the mirror.

Why had he put this upon himself?

Kiku Honda, quiet personification of Japan, who didn't intend to draw more than enough attention to himself,. Peaceful, responsible, respectable Japan.

He had gone and done such a stupid thing.

He had bleached his hair blonde.

How had he gotten himself into this mess?

It had been a normal world meeting… Meaning everything was in chaos.

"I told you not to touch me, frog!"

"You British dudes are too uptight!"

"Don't you get into this as well!"

"Westerners are so immature".

"Lithuania? Where are you?" ~~

"I told you, like back off from like Liet!"

"Ve~ Romano, I'm hungry!"

"Then go get food from that potato bastard and stop bothering me!"

Japan sighed, resting his head in the palm of his hand. He had hoped that just maybe they could get something done in these meetings. Alas, it had all gone to chaos as usual and no doubt Germany would slam his fists on the table and shout for silence.

Thump

"Everyone shut up!"

There it was.

As Germany rambled on, reinstating the rules he seemed to repeat every world meeting, Kiku drifted off. It was always the same old routine. The meeting begins, there is sexual tension between England and America, France intervenes, England gets pissed, Italy wants food, Romano hates everyone and keeps telling Spain to *ahem* etc. all ending with Germany's loud outburst as he says the same old rules that no one listens to.

Kiku was used to this and it wasn't a huge deal. But a change would be nice.

That's when he decided something drastic, a change in deed but not a good one.

That's when he decided to dye his hair.

On his way home from the meeting that afternoon, Japan entered one of the many supermarkets in the area in search for hair dye.

He came to the beauty products aisle, and meekly explored the different hair dyes before deciding on bleach blonde.

The girl at the checkout had bright pink hair; however she gave Kiku a strange look and whispered "are you sure?" to him before scanning the item and handing it to him in a yellow plastic bag.

Kiku hadn't understood why before, but now, as he stood in front of the bathroom mirror in a state of horror he thought how he should've thought this through.

There was no turning back now. Change is what Kiku Honda wanted, and he sure got it.

He got change in the form of an unfortunate hair dye.
