The cold wind tore into Sirius' cold wet face as he tried to ignore the tears streaming down. How was Hogwarts going to react? Would they even have a funeral for a traitorous scum like himself? Or would they just ignore his body and leave it to decay at the bottom of the tower? He deserved as much for breaking Moony's trust. He deserved as much for being so much like his horrible family. He can't go home and he can't go to James, so Sirius decided to take the only other option. Sirius Black was going to kill himself. He had written notes, and tidied his things. He's even apologized to Remus again, and now Sirius is ready. Taking a deep breath he shimmies towards the ledge of the tower and looks down. Who's going to find him in the morning? Or will someone see him on the way down? What if he doesn't die immediately and instead slowly bleeds to death? Nothing less then he deserves.
"Sirius," a small voice interrupts his thoughts and he wipes his eyes with his white long sleeve shirt, before turning around.
"What do you want Evans?" Sirius asks in a sharp painful tone,
"what are you doing?" The red haired girl replied ignoring his question. "It's awful cold, do you want to go back to the common room with me?" She continues when he steps closer to the edge, "Sirius please," Lily pleads and watches as he looks towards the ground again, looking longingly at the bottom. One more day won't hurt, maybe he can write Lily a note as well.
"Sure Evans," he says hopping off the edge of the tall astronomy tower. 'Tomorrow, I won't be such a coward,' he told himself. 'Tomorrow.'
