This is what happens when you play Fire Emblem:Awakening while watching Adventure Time. I remembered one of my favorite songs in Adventure Time was "In the land of Ooo is a Candy Kingdom" and I wanted to write a parody of it about the Shepherds. I wanted to use the same amount of lines as the original, so I couldn't fit ALL the Shepherds in the song, so please don't hate me if I missed your favorite one. Note: I do apologize about the strange way I seperated each stanza, but for whatever reason, everytime I try to seperate them properly, they come back together by the time I hit save. This is the first thing I've ever posted on this site, so if someone out there could tell me if I'm doing something wrong, I'd really appreciate it.
In the Fire Emblem universe there's the Halidom of Ylisse
With lots of Shepherds there to meet.
And all the Shepherds who live there
Dream for a world of peace.
There are many different Shepherds.
Far too many to name.
But if you care
To take a dare
We'll try it all the same.
Stahl and Gaius both really love to eat.
Frederick and Lon'qu can be a bit grumpy.
About that secretive Lon'qu
Not too good with the ladies.
Lucky for them they have Virion
To keep them company.
Sully is quite the woman, stronger than the average man.
If you're feeling lazy, Olivia there
To motivate you with a dance.
Ricken and Donnel dream of being big and strong.
Kellam the knight is really nice
Although he doesn't hang around for long.
Panna and Nowi can turn into savage beasts.
If you have a problem, Miriel's here
To solve all your mysteries.
Anna really loves her money.
Keep an eye on your purse.
Tharja can be nice, but don't get her mad
Or she'll blast ya with a curse.
Lissa and Maribelle can heal you with their staffs.
Henry and Gregor are always up for a few laughs.
Ol'Teach will teach ya how its done.
Adventures with Basilio are always fun.
With their Pegasus knights
They're ready to fight.
Can't forget the Old Hubba.
"Hello there ladies."
Can't forget the Old Hubba.
"This oughta be juicy…"
And what would they do
Without their tacticion; that would be you.
In the Fire Emblem universe there's the Halidom of Ylisse
Who's song is now complete.
Except for one more Shepherd
Who really can't be beat.
Protector of the Fire Emblem
Wields the ancient Falchion in his palm
Leading us all against a bunch of creepy old dudes
It's the great and mighty Chrom.
In the Fire Emblem universe there's the Halidom of Ylisse.
In the Fire Emblem universe there's the Halidom of Ylisse.
Well, there you have it. One of my favorite games turned into a song which is based on a song from one of my favorite shows. Now only one question reminds. Could I possibly be any bigger a nerd? The answer is: Probably.
