A/N: This is a birthday present from Past Tricia two-and-a-half months ago. :P Thanks, Past Tricia.

I awkwardly stumbled back, trying to return the space that was between Z.W.E.I. and I. "What are you doing…?" I asked as my cheeks began to heat up.

"It's a couple of minutes past midnight," Z.W.E.I. explained. "As of now, it's your eighteenth birthday. As such, I want to give you your birthday present." As he proceeded to walking towards me, I stepped back a bit more.

"T-that won't be necessary, honestly," I said, chuckling nervously. Even though I declined, the dark-haired man continued to advance towards me. As I continued to back up, I found myself running into a giant rock. Of course! In a giant field, what were the chances of me running into a boulder? I looked back, getting ready to maneuver around the obstacle, but an arm had blocked my way. I turned the other way, only to be blocked by another arm. With nowhere else to go, I had no choice but to face my opponent.

Z.W.E.I. was literally inches from my face. I felt his body temperature hovering over my small frame. He looked down at me with his smoky blue eyes. Intimidated, I avoided eye contact. Damn him, getting the upper hand…

Dashing my eyesight around, I couldn't help but notice the smirk that Z.W.E.I. held. As he leaned in, I sealed my eyes closed. However, instead of receiving a gratuitous gift on my face, I felt his warm breath brushing my left ear.

"You're too easy to mess with," he whispered. The comment made my eyes snap open. Stepping back, Z.W.E.I. revealed the humor on his face before turning his back to me, walking away.

Wait a minute; did he just pull a tomfoolery?

Stomping my foot, I became enraged as I shouted, "Y… You asshole!" In response, Z.W.E.I. waved his hand, not bothering to look back. Finding no insults to cry, I surrendered as I sat down on the boulder. "Who does he think he is?" I muttered to myself, staring at the ground angrily. "Playing a move like that, and then leaving me altogether… Ugh, he's so irritating! Are all werewolves like this?"

I paused. What was I really upset about? Was I upset that he teased me like that, or the fact that he teased me and I was ready to accept it? Sighing, I sprawled myself over the giant rock, laying on my back as I stared at the starry night sky. I was only eighteen for five minutes, and I was already in a bad mood. "What a terrible birthday…" I mumbled, feeling the development of tears in my eyes.

"Like I said: You're just too easy to mess with.: Startled, I sat up and saw that it was a certain dark-haired man.

"Z.W.E.I.…" I began, but I rearranged my expression so that I was ticked off. "What you do you want now?"

"We have to get going," Z.W.E.I. stated. Oh. Right. I traveled with this man. Sighing, I laid back to look at the sky one more time. Finally deciding to leave, I sat up.

Once again, the werewolf had caught me off guard. He stood directly in front of me. As my head almost collided with his body, he placed his lips on my forehead. Shocked, I leaned back as I covered my forehead with my hands. For a brief moment, I wondered if that was on accident, but Z.W.E.I.'s neutral expression said otherwise.

"W-what was that for...?" I asked, completely flustered.

"I wasn't being fair," Z.W.E.I. explained. "I'm sorry." After a moment, he added with a smirk on his face, "Besides, I still have plans for you, birthday girl." I made no movement nor response, since I was still dumbfounded and, admittedly, embarassed. However, I made no objections when he grabbed my hand and lifted me off the boulder.

Honestly, he's damn lucky he's cute.

A/N: Oh Z.W.E.I., you silly goose, what were your real intentions for me, now that I'm of age~? ;D

Right then, I'm going to shut up now.
