Hey guys, I wrote this in like 15 minutes so I'm pretty sure it totally sucks, but thanks for taking the time to read it. This is my first fic so please don't be too mean. As I hope all of you know, Ayashi No Ceres and all of it characters don't belong to me no matter how much I wish they did.

Left Behind

"Come back!" Aya yelled to the retreating figure in the rain. "Please..don't leave me!"

The figure continued walking, making the girl's eyes start to water. I don't want to lose him, she thought to herself, I love him..

Aya then ran after the man, hoping to catch him before it was too late. Her wet hair kept sticking to her face as she ran and she kept having to move it out of her eyes.

"Why are you leaving?!" she cried out to him. He didn't respond to her, he just kept walking. She started running a little faster when she tripped on some uneven pavement and fell to the ground. "Why...?" she said softly, so soft the barely even heard her. He paused for a moment before turning around and looking at her.

"Because I don't want to hurt you," he said as he watched her move to more of a sitting position. She was slightly hunched over, with her wet hair covering her face and just then he thought he saw a tear fall, but it could have just been the rain.

"What do you think your doing then?" she finally replied. "Don't you think your hurting me by leaving me like this?"

The man was silent for a moment before walking to her. He kneeled down in front of her and noticed that she kept her gaze on the ground. He silently moved the hair out of her face and gently tilted it upwards so he could look in to her eyes.

"I love you Tooya." she told him as she looked up into dark green eyes that were being framed by wet, red hair. She then pulled him into a gentle embrace.

"I love you too," he said as he held her close. After staying in each other's arms for a little while Aya dragged the two of them over to the nearest tree while receiving a questioning look from Tooya.

"I thought we should try to get out of the rain," Aya stated, answering his unasked question. He nodded slightly before wrapping his arms around her waist. She then rested her head against his chest and closed her eyes. I want to stay like this forever, she thought to herself.

"Aya, I have to leave you..it's better this way." he whispered in her ear after a couple minutes, while stroking her hair.

"No Tooya, I want to be with you!" she cried and tightened her hold on him.

"I'm sorry.." he whispered as he gently kissed her and in no time she was returning his kiss. He started to think about how much he liked being with her, but then he remembered what he must do. I'm never going to be with her again.I'll never be able to feel her in my arms or taste her lips ever again.I must leave her, its better this way... He broke the kiss and gently pulled himself out of her arms. Then he turned and started walking away, leaving the crying girl behind him.

"Good bye Aya.."
