A/N: Hello all. I have not abandoned WDBHG or FLND. Life has been horrible and I haven't been able to upload the new chapters. But I do hope you enjoy this new story I'm creating.

A little backstory on this: it's a crossover between Glee and Degrassi. It takes place after the bus crash on Degrassi. Tristan is transported to a hospital in Ohio for treatment and rehab. While he's there, he meets Kurt who was also involved in a terrible accident. Miles and Blaine are stepbrothers. This will be told from the POV of both Kurt and Tristan. I hope you enjoy!!

This chapter has mentions of MPREG and swearing. Also, a car accident that is very detailed at the very end

Chapter 1

Kurt's POV - OHIO

Kurt checked himself in the mirror one last time. His outfit and hair had to be the best ever. If not, he might as well give up on winning senior class president. He had huge ideas for the school year.

Banning all slushies. Allowing Juniors and Seniors to leave campus for lunch. A wide variety of classes that could actually improve a young persons life. Yeah, he could do this. Plus, he had his amazing boyfriend, Blaine Anderson, by his side.

He grabbed his satchel and walked out of his room. His door faced that of his brother Finn. Kurt walked over to the door and touched it.

"I know you would have been my biggest supporter..." he said to the door. He shook himself, not wanting to get emotional before the big day and walked downstairs.

He couldn't believe it had almost been a year since his brother had died. Lord knows Finn was needed. Especially during that pregnancy scare this past summer.

"Morning kiddo. Ready for the debate?" Burt asked from the kitchen table.

Kurt walked in and grabbed an apple and took a bite out of it. "More than ready. I can't wait to crush Miles today."

Burt chuckled, sipping his coffee. "Won't it be weird to beat your boyfriend's brother?"

Before Kurt could answer, the doorbell rang. "I'll get it!" He said, going to open the door. On the other side stood his sexy boyfriend.

Blaine smiled, leaning forward and kissed Kurt's cheek. "Good morning Mr. President."

Kurt blushed, moving back to let him in. "I'm not president yet. I still have to beat your brother."

Blaine rolled his eyes at the metion of Miles. They don't have the best of relationship, but aren't enemies. Just in different circles.

"Aww come on. You love that guy."

Blaine shrugged. "He tries too hard. And Mom and his dad say nothing when he brings girls home."

"They don't say anything when I come over."

Blaine grabbed Kurt's bag and keys, walking out to his car. "That's because they think nothing happens between us."

Kurt climbed in and laughed. "We've gotten caught plenty of times."

"Yeah well, there's no risk of you getting pregnant. But Miles is a golden child. He can do no wrong. Even if he has girls in his room until 1 in the morning. But heaven forbid you stay that late." He slammed his car door and started it up. He backed out of the driveway and began driving to school.

Kurt reached over and rubbed his arm. "It's okay. He's a prick and he'd going to be super mad when I kick his ass today."

Blaine sighed softly, gripping three steering wheel harder. "I just...according to Miles, his dad is abusive. And all I keep thinking is my mom left one abusive asshole to the marry another. And I honestly think Miles is only like this to piss his dad off."

Kurt rubbed his arm gently. "Hey, let's put him out of our minds. At least until we get to school. Right now, I need my campaign manager boyfriend to give me a pep talk."

"Everyone knows you're gonna beat Miles. His campaign is basically just selling sex. He wants every girl to drop their panties for him."

Kurt shook his head, laughing softly. They talked the rest of the way to school. Planning to go out for a celebratory dinner after the election.

"Okay, Mr. Hollingsworth. What do you think is the most valuable thing here at McKinley?" Sue asked.

Miles smiled and leaned over the podium. "Well, obviously it's having fun."

The students erupted in applause.

"Porcelain, same question."

Kurt rolled his eyes at the name but answered. "Learning in an environment that is safe. If we could walk down the halls without fear of getting a face full of slushie."

The students again erupted in applause.

The debate lasted a little over an hour. Miles answering questions like a frat boy, making empty promises. While Kurt answered honestly and actually promised things he could deliver.

Since McKinley did a complete makeover and made it's way into 2017, things had been very different. Diversity was a huge new part and Kurt was all over that. He promised to make sure every group that was represented in those halls were to feel safe and welcomed. Clubs would be formed if wanted, new classes would be administered to get rid of ignorance and bias. Kurt truly had a plan to move McKinley in a better path. He even wanted to start a cricket team for those who didn't want to play traditional sports. Kurt Hummel was truly for the students and the school.

The election was held directly after the debate. Both candidates eagerly awaiting to have their name be called as student body president. Kurt knew he was the man for the job. There was no doubt in his mind about that, but what if everyone fell for Miles' bullshit?

Ugh!

A crackling came over the PA system. "We have the results of the election. The new student body president is..." A long pause as Sue opened the envelope that contained the winners of the election. "Porcelain Hummel!"

Claps and cheers were heard around the school. Kurt looked around his classroom in awe. He knew he did great and that he had a real chance of winning, but shit. He actually won. Kurt Hummel beat Miles Hollingsworth for president. Wow!

His phone buzzed with an incoming text. He pulled it out and smiled:

I'M TAKING YOU OUT TONIGHT TO CELEBRATE AND THEN WE CAN GO TO MY HOUSE AND CELEBRATE SOME MORE. MAYBE EVEN IN MILES' ROOM -B

Kurt blushed and typed out a quick reply:

I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO IT -K

After the results, school went by in a blur for Kurt. He was ready to be out of that place and alone with Blaine.

Kurt met Blaine by his car, smiling as his boyfriend walked over to him. "Mr. President."

Kurt blushed, kissing him softly. "Thank you. Where are you taking me?"

Blaine smirked, wrapping his arms around his waist. Hands slowly moving down to his ass amd squeezed gently. "I could take you in the backseat but I think there are too many people around."

Kurt hit him lightly on the chest. "Ass. I mean to eat."

Blaine laughed. "Oh, so do I."

Kurt shook his head, pulling away and climbed in the car. Blaine chuckled and climbed in as well. He started the car and drove out of the school parking lot.

"I can't believe I won..."

Blaine reached over and grabbed his hand. "Why? I knew you would win this."

"I've never won anything like this before. It means so much and I have so much responsibility on my shoulders."

"You'll do amazing. Even though you have Miles as your VP."

Kurt scoffed at the mention of his new VP. Yeah, that'll be fun.

Blaine laughed. "Yeah I know."

And then it happened.

Blaine was driving and out of nowhere a black Tahoe ran a red light and smashed into Kurt's side of the car. He didn't even have time to scream before glass and metal crushed around him.

Glass rain down on him, in him. The car flipped. Once. Twice. Thrice. Four times across the street and into an embankment. Steam rose out of the bottom of the car, gas leaked out.

Blaine screamed, reaching over for Kurt who was unresponsive. "Oh no. Nononono! Fuck!" He grappled for his phone, but it was crushed. "Son of a bitch!" He cursed.

He reached for his door, but no luck. Then he tried for his seat belt, no luck there either.

It had started to rain. Water seeped into the car onto them. He needed to get Kurt, but how. Fuck his head hurt. He reached up and felt blood on his forehead. But he didn't have time to dwell on his own injuries. His wonderful boyfriend was in danger and there was absolutely nothing he could do about it.

Sirens rang out in the distance. Rushing towards the scene. People rushed down the embankment, looking into the car and trying to help, but to no avail.

Kurt's side of the car was totally smashed in. His leg was pinned under the dash and pieces of the door had jammed themselves in the side of his body. Glass from the windshield and both passenger side windows had peppered his face.

His beautiful face, battered and bloodied. Blood spilled out of his ears. God, was Blaine going to lose the love of his life?

The next thing Blaine knew, hands were inside the car. Pulling and pushing things. Cutting things. And then they were out. C-collars on them both. Kurt laid out on a backboard as the paramedics worked hard on him.

"Is he dead?" He heard himself ask.

"No. But he's hanging on by a thread."

That's when Blaine's world flipped upside down and he passed out.
