Hey guys. Here is my new story…my second time of writing. Actually I like Wolvista better but I just wanted to try something new so I started with RaVe story. Hope y'all like it. Enjoy!

Maxine Valera hurried stepped in an elevator in the last minute before the door closed. There were two people in the elevator with her. She sighed out silently. She was late for work. She was never late. In fact she was always the first person who arrived the DNA lab. She blamed her alarm clock that it didn't make any noise when it reached the time she set. It got her very upset.

When the door opened, she hurried stepped out of the elevator and walked fast to the DNA lab before she accidentally bumped into someone. Multiple pieces of paper instantly flew over her head.

"Ow." Ryan cried out, took one look at the person who just bumped into him and then at the papers that laid scattered all over the floor. Ryan's hazel eyes that just turned away from Maxine froze her body. She stood there looking at him nervously and he just looked at her back curiously.

"You okay?" He asked. She finally got her mind back.

"Ah yeah yeah. Sorry Ryan. I was in hurry." Maxine said and quickly kneeled down to collected many pieces of paper on the floor.

"That's okay." He bent on his knees and helped her collecting his papers. "By the way why were you late today? You're never late." He asked, smiling, looking at her. She chuckled with the question.

"My alarm clock didn't do its job. I'm so pissed off." She looked back at him, smiling. He surprised.

"Why is that? You're pissed off that your clock is broke or that it got you late for work?"

"Second one. Everyone even Horatio has been late before but I had never, but then this stupid clock got me. Today it will be in the trash."

"Right. Ha-ha." He said, collecting the last two pieces of paper on the floor. "It's your first time of being late and it wasn't your fault because the alarm just didn't ring. You're pretty hard-working." He said before they both got up. She handed him his papers she collected and chuckled once again.

"I'm not that hard-working. I just love to wake up early and see the rising sun. It made my day." Yes. It always did, but not for today because I was late to see it. But then something else did. It's your smile that made my day. She thought.

"That explains why you arrived here first everyday. That's good. But I like the setting sun better." He continued and smiled again. He had no idea how delighted her heart was when he put that smile on his face. She wished she had more time to chat with him, but too bad, they both had to get back to work. She even almost forgot that she was in hurry making her way to DNA lab, so she immediately ended this conversation.

"Whatever. I think we should get back to work now. See you later." Said Maxine. He nodded and walked away. Maxine just quickly made her way to DNA lab with her blissful heart.
