"With this kiss, you I swear to love"

"With this kiss, my love you accept"

oOoOoOoOo

"Wolfram, WHY did you sudenly change your vows? I swear, Ulrike looked ready to strangle you!"

They were sitting together at the head of the table, managing privacy as the noblemen around them chattered loudly.

"If Murata wasn't such a good talker and Shinou himself hadn't blessed you, the marriage would have been... illegal?" Yuuri hazarded a guess.

"Annulled, wimp"

"At last he speaks!"

Wolfram growled softly. "They were MY vows, I can say anything I please!"

Hastily Yuuri patted his husband's hand, anxious to avoid being flayed before his wedding night.

"It made life harder for many people Wolf. We'd have been much happier if you'd just told us earlier"

Wolfram had the decency to look slightly embarrasssed. Turning away he muttered under his breath something that sounded suspiciously like "Ulrike said I couldn't"

Pulling his seat closer to the blond, Yuuri leaned his chin on Wolfram's shoulder.

"Ne, Wolfram, why didn't you say you love me?"

"Idiot!"

Yuuri pulled back, rubbing his cheek. Wolfram pinched HARD.

"Every single day of every single week of every single month for five years I've vowed you my love! That's never been the problem! This way I've made it so you can't ever stop letting me love you!"

Wolfram flushed a bright red, embarrassed and annoyed that he'd had to admit such a pathetic, weak thing.

Yuuri looked taken aback, before light dawned in his eyes and he moved his face closer to the blushing blond.

"Obviously" he whispered into Wolfram's ear, "I've made the wrong vows. I won't be stopped from loving you either. So, Lord Wolfram Von Bielefeld," a warm hand clasped Wolfram's pale ones, "with this kiss, you I promise to love even if you don't want me to." Smiling sweetly, he looked up into glittering green eyes. "Do you accept?"

Wolfram smiled at the cuteness that was holding his hand.

"Gladly I'll accept, Your Royal Wimpiness. To you, I pledge my eternal companionship. You'll NEVER get rid of me!"

"Wolfram, I want it no other way"

And so the royal couple kissed, vows renenwed scant hours after they were officially made.

And it would have been a perfect ending too, if only a drunk Gwendal hadn't growled "Get a room, Your Majesty, and keep your hands off my brother!"

"Oh well," Wolfram had whispered after giggles had broken out in the room, "an imperfect ending suits our imperfect journey to get here perfectly!"

Yuuri admitted to himself that he was the luckiest man alive at the sight of his husband giggling and smiling happily.

Feels perfect to me.
