Okay this is my first piece of poetry I'm posting. I'm not so good at it I'm just starting so feel free to review and tell me what I could do to make my writing better. I think I did pretty well. It's based on the song float on by modest mouse, well that's what I hear when I read this (probably because I wrote this while listening to it), go check it out it a pretty good song. Enjoy XD. I feel.
My body.
Hit the water.
On impact,
I sink.
I see the small bubbles.
Float up.
To the surface
Something I
Won't be doing.
The last
Thing I see.
Is the dark blue
Surrounding me.
I go to the
Place I hate the
Most.
Id much rather be.
Up there with
Loved ones.
Even if they
Don't love me
Back.
Most people will not
Care at first.
They think I
Will come back.
I will not, yet
Most of them
Still wont care.
Because I was
The one to
Fade in the
Background.
Except one,
The one who
Even after
A month
And the one
After that
Will go
To my
Grave.
With his
Fierce red curls
And electric green eyes
A tear strolling
Down his cheek.
He will sit
For a while.
Then using tape
He tapes a
Piece of paper
To my gravestone.
With four simple
Words,
"I'll love you forever."
And walks away
And only then
I know I can
Rest In peace.
I know we will
All float on
Alright.
